Did you know that the ivy plant is a symbol of everlasting life, devotion, fidelity and loyalty? An inspiring name for a charismatic pooch such as myself! Being the young lady that I am, an active family would be a match made in heaven! Play time is quite possibly my favorite time of day (sometimes I get a bit carried away with my plushy toys). I like to live life enthusiastically, having a positive direction for my gusto would be the ultimate delight for me! Although physical activity is an absolute riot, having a cool down period with some mental games is a good time too. At the end of the day, I just want to be involved with my people. I am not one to turn down a snuggle session by any means. What can I say, I am a sweetheart after all. I hope to find a family that wants to understand and accepts me for the glorious rescue dog that I am. For instance, I like some other dogs, but not every dog. Smaller dogs (and cats for that matter) remind me of chicken nuggets, I can't help but feel some prey drive there. But some other dogs my own size are fun to hang out and play with. I suppose that its pretty normal to not get along with everyone you meet in life though. Whether or not you are a botanical enthusiast, if you are looking for a forever companion submit your adoption application for the perfect furry addition! Winslow Winslow is a male Malinois/Aussie mix DOB: June 11th, 2025 Adoption fee: $200 I am a very reserved and sweet boy. I am energetic and I enjoy playing with my siblings and toys! I can be unsure and aloof in new situations with unfamiliar people and locations. It will take me time to get comfortable enough to show my sweet and loving side. I enjoy attention on my own terms. I am still working on my confidence and will need some who is willing to work with me on positive introductions to new things. I will need training, but I am eager to learn! I will require someone with experience and knowledge of larger breed dogs from the working and herding group. Due to my behavior, I will require a fully fenced yard. I am not fit for an apartment. I may do my best in a home with another dog looking for a friend and playmate. I have not been tested with cats at this time. I am recommended with children 12+ possibly younger pending families previous experience. Once I am acclimated to my new home and family, I could be introduced to a more structured obedience regime. When I am with familiar staff and my siblings or another dog, I exhibit normal young dog behavior. I am a good boy! I know I will really enjoy going for walks, hikes, and just getting my puppy zoomies out about. I will make a great companion for the right people!
