Story
Did you know that the ivy plant is a symbol of everlasting life, devotion, fidelity and loyalty? An inspiring name for a charismatic pooch such as myself! Being the young lady that I am, an active family would be a match made in heaven! Play time is quite possibly my favorite time of day (sometimes I get a bit carried away with my plushy toys). I like to live life enthusiastically, having a positive direction for my gusto would be the ultimate delight for me! Although physical activity is an absolute riot, having a cool down period with some mental games is a good time too. At the end of the day, I just want to be involved with my people. I am not one to turn down a snuggle session by any means. What can I say, I am a sweetheart after all. I hope to find a family that wants to understand and accepts me for the glorious rescue dog that I am. For instance, I like some other dogs, but not every dog. Smaller dogs (and cats for that matter) remind me of chicken nuggets, I can't help but feel some prey drive there. But some other dogs my own size are fun to hang out and play with. I suppose that its pretty normal to not get along with everyone you meet in life though. Whether or not you are a botanical enthusiast, if you are looking for a forever companion submit your adoption application for the perfect furry addition! Story
Toshi is a 2-year old, intact pure bred Australian Cattle Dog. We re-homed him to us after his previous home had to consolidate the number of dogs on the working farm. He has been adjusting to living in a suburb pretty quickly (has been getting used to sounds of cars, people walking other dogs, visitors to the home, etc.). Having a young toddler at home, we are finding it difficult to manage the attention and energy between our son and Toshi, which we recognize is not fair to Toshi, who is so loving, energetic, and curious, and are hopeful to find the right new home for him that can provide every loving thing he deserves. We will waive the adoption fee for the right person. He is very food-motivated, a huge snuggler both on the couch and on the floor, and is protective (he has that cattle dog bark down lol) of his home and people.
