Story
Dozer is 1 year old and about 50lbs. He thrives on love and attention from his humans. He likes balls of all sizes,  fuzzy toys and friends to play with. This  boy will make a  wonderful addition to a loving, fun family! Dozer is an active boy, that will do best in a home with another dog for him to play with. He does like to chase cats if they run but also plays gently if they give him a chance. He is great with the foster puppies in his home. He teaches the babies how to play, and watches over them. He is a smart and handsome guy. He is leash, kennel, and house trained. Expensive toys aren't necessary for this sweet boy as sticks are biscuits favorite! He'll pick them up, run with them, and fetch them. Dozer  rides very well, and his favorite place to go to is Tractor Supply. He loves meeting people and being the center of attention. Dozer is ready for adoption. He is completely vetted. Vetting includes spaying/neutering, microchip, rabies as well as all puppy vaccinations, and has been on preventatives. His adoption fee is $225.   If you have any questions, please email us at:   newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com You can apply to adopt Dozer here: www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET! Story
Hello. I have recently started fostering a dog we found neglected. He had a pretty severe embedded collar that we have treated back with antibiotics. We already have 4 dogs and 2 cats, and unfortunately two of our pets are just not getting along with him(which I believe is due to their jealousy and no fault of his.) It’s causing him to be crated for extended periods of time and I think it’s becoming too stressful for him.. He is an excellent dog and listens to basic commands. He’s around 3 years old and an Australian cattle dog. Still has a lot of energy but very cuddly and calm too.

Story
This is Zoe, a blue heeler/red heeler mix. Her dad (red heeler) lives on my uncles property and escaped one day and got a neighbors blue heeler pregnant. My uncles neighbor had her for the first 3 months, she got sick though and couldn’t help care for her anymore. I already have a 4-year old Husky, and decided to take her in the meantime. My goal was to have her spayed and find a permanent home for her. I have her spay scheduled for August. She is the type of dog who would require a lot of space to run and explore. She loves toys and is pretty good about her recall. She can be stubborn at times but is very very treat motivated. She is fully potty trained but has been known to have accidents if you wait too long. She loves enrichment training and activities. Her breed trait causes her to nip at times, this is only an issue if something is bugging her or she is looking for attention. She seems to do well with other dogs, not so sure about children and loves people.

These pups are in Horn Lake, Mississippi too!

Story
This beauty is called Jinx. She is a 5 month old possibly Australian shepherd/ German shepherd mix. She is very good-natured and affectionate. She is learning to walk on leash and how to sit. Jinx is very frightened by the shelter noises and we would like to see her growing up with a family instead of the shelter. She has not been dog tested yet but she is possibly dog friendly. Please call the shelter for more info or to schedule a meet and greet appt. 662-393-5857 *all animals are required to be spayed/neutered before being released to an approved home.
