Story
Oscar was found abandoned as a small pup with his siblings on some rural property. Nobody knows how long they were there. Oscar needed surgery due to a broken leg. He needed pins placed to repair. After surgery he had to be on crate rest for weeks while his leg healed. He is outgoing and he has a great personality! Oscar is a fast learner, especially when treats are involved, and he has learned basic cues. He is very smart and curious. Oscar is good with other dogs, and he is in a foster home with multiple dogs. He loves to run and play, but also loves to lay down near his humans. His loves to snuggle! At night he snuggles up and settles right down for sleep, and sleeps all through the night. He enjoys being around his foster family's young grandchildren several days a week, and he is very good with them. Oscar is housebroken and crate trained (he doesn't love it - understandable since he was confined to it for weeks - and he will complain at first, but eventually settle down). He loves toys, especially balls and frisbees. Oscar rides well in a car, he enjoys going places. Oscar has an easy to care for coat. He is such a handsome, loving boy!

Story
Meet me at PetSmart #2087 in Memphis, Tn. 5883 Poplar Ave Saturday, September 16th from 11am to 2pm! Sweet, sensitive Dolly! Once just a yard dog thrown out in a field to survive with her two siblings. Dolly is about 2+ years old, spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, current on vaccines now, weighs 30 pounds, wormed, heartworm prevention, Nexgard for flea and tick protection. A lady living close by was feeding the girls and reached out for help. Dolly was with three other dogs stranded in a field in Luxahoma, Ms. She’s sort of shy but craves attention and perks up around children. (Note: no children in her foster home. Just an old lady with 10 dogs). But she loves seeing children at our adoption events. She would not be a good candidate for apartment living, still gaining confidence on leash walking. Needs a secure fenced in yard to play in safely. She will make a family a nice pet but she will need a bit of work. She’s not perfect but she sure would like to have the opportunity to learn what you want her to do. She’s lap size just under 30 pounds. Dolly thinks food is great! Loves getting her daily meals now. She is doing great on kennel training. It's a good adjustment being able to live indoors and getting adjusted to other pets in the foster home. She will let you know if anyone is approaching your home or your yard. She does need a bit more work on leash walking but is doing pretty good for never having been on a leash before. Her adoption fee is $150 If interested in giving this pet a home, please send us an email and we will send you an application to fill out. saveonepet@gmail.com Save 1 Pet is a 501 (c) 3 approved charity committed to helping homeless animals. We don't have a facility (shelter) but work out of our homes to foster the animals until they find a forever home. Please be advised that for all adoptions, we will conduct reference checks, including veterinary references. Our adoption fee for dogs includes spay/neuter, heart worm check, current vaccines, microchip, worming and heart worm/flea/tick prevention. For dog adoptions, we do conduct fence verification. When adopting an animal, you will be asked to complete our Adoption Contract

Story
***BEAUX IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN*** Do you believe your furBFF deserves car rides with face fulls of jowl flapping wind while training to be your best co-pilot ever? Are you looking for a smart, eager-to-please adventure buddy to train to be your personal sidekick?  Look no further because we got your boy!  Meet Beaux.  Beaux is a beautiful medium/large-size 1-year-old mixed-breed youngster who is SUPER KID FRIENDLY and looking for his forever home.  Even though his breed mix is a crap shoot, we tend to believe he's an Australian Shep with a side of 100% Good Boy. Since Beaux could possibly be within the working breed spectrum, he will require physical & mental stimulation daily or at the very least every other day. Walks, training, play dates, etc. Memphis will absolutely flourish in a home with children. If you have children, love wiggle   butts, and dog smiles then Beaux   is your dream dog.  He has a  personality for days, loves to learn, and seems to be a pretty quick study. He enjoys snuggling with his human, playing with his siblings, adventuring outside, and taste-testing frosties. Did I mention, he LOVES children??   Beaux is neutered, microchipped, u.t.d. on all vaccinations (including rabies & bordetella), and had a recent Pro-Heart shot in June 2023.    Beaux's adoption fee is $225.00. If you have any questions, please email us at:   newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .   You can apply to adopt Beaux here:   http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net   **THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!** Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.September 20, 2023, 5:54 pm
