Story
Roxy is super sweet and loves to cuddle. She gets excited easily and tends to jump on you when you first enter the room. Due to this, I don’t recommend having her around smaller children. She is trainable and highly motivated with food. We mistakenly got littermates without researching and it has proven to be extremely hard for us to train and spend time with both of them - together and separately. Our trainer said it wouldn’t be a bad idea to rehome her so that each dog gets the love and attention they deserve. This would benefit them each letting them form a deeper bond with their owner, and eliminating their littermate syndrome. She is up to date on shots and we are not asking for any money. We just want her to find a nice forever home.

Meet Rhett! Rhett is a fun loving Aussie/Heeler Mix who is looking for his forever home. He is around 50lbs and is a ball of fun and energy. Rhett needs a home where he can be walked daily or a home that is pretty active, he loves to be with a person who is paying full attention to him! Rhett is fully housetrained and will sit for a treat, we have been working on shake but there is SO much to see and do around here, it's a working progress! Rhett is currently in training with the Puppies for Parole Program. This is a 10 week training period where the dogs are taught basic commands, such as leash walking, sit, stay, come, down as well as kennel training and house training. Rhett is fully vetted including Neuter, Heartworm Test (Negative), All Vaccines, Monthly Preventatives as well as Microchipped. If you are interested in meeting/adopting, please visit www.moberlyanimashelter.bravesites.com and complete an adoption application. A meet and greet will be scheduled once you are approved to adopt. These will take place during the week at the Department of Corrections between the hours of 9am and 4pm.
