After being found on the side of the road with his siblings, he was taken in and cared for. Soon after this, his caretaker lost their housing and began living in their car. For the past 6 months, Domino had spent all of his time living out of a car with his three other siblings. Domino has made his was to us and has begun showing off what a happy, goofy boy he is. Domino is an incredibly sweet pup who quickly picks up new skills and is quickly making progress with house and crate training. Domino has done great making both new dog and human friends. He has typical puppy energy and would love a home that is ready to go on adventures or play a good game of fetch in the yard. We are still learning more about this boy, one thing we do know is that he has so much love to give! Daisy is a Red Heeler Mix, she weighs between 30 - 40-lbs, do well with other dogs, all people she has met so far however she may need some time to warm up as she has not had a lot of socialization but has been doing well since we have had them. Daisy will need a homes that is familiar with the cattle breed and all the quirks that come with them, these dogs needs lots of exercise and stimulation, they also like to be with their person or their people. They have a tendency to want to herd especially younger kids which is why we suggest older kids unless you are experienced with the breed. Daisy will all be fully vetted including Spay, HW Test, All vaccines including Rabies & Lepto, Dewormed, Placed on Monthly Preventatives as well as Microchipped Daisy will also be attending the Puppies for Parole Training starting on August 28th This is a 8 -10 week training held here at the Moberly Department of Corrections, while there she will learn House Training, Kennel Training, Basic Commands such as Sit, Down, Stay, Recall, Leash Walking and more depending on her quickness to learn new tasks. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.If interested in adopting, read about our Adoption Process and complete an Adoption Application on the Mo-Kan website.  A Mo-Kan application must be filled out to begin the process.(Sending an "Inquiry" via Petfinder does not constitute an application.)   Dorito is a one year-old, 34 pound male neutered Border Collie mix. He was initially a stray in Oklahoma and was transferred to a Kansas City shelter, then to Mo-Kan. Dorito loves his people, is a very active and driven boy, and would likely make a great sport prospect.  He shows great focus, toy drive and a fantastic tug.  He has super fetch abilities and brings the disc right back to your hand.   Dorito enjoys interacting with the other dogs in large playgroups with dogs big and small.  It's unknown how he is with cats, however. Dorito is highly alert on walks and if walking too close to a roadway, may lunge after cars, but is easily redirected. He also can be a leash biter but stops when told. Though he’s good with other dogs in playgroups, he will bark and pull, sometimes lunge towards other dogs when out on a walk. He is very treat and toy motivated, affectionate, driven, friendly, happy-go-lucky, hyper. He does still jump on people and can be mouthy, especially when trying to get you to play with him.  He is neutered, heartworm negative, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on monthly preventatives.
