Story
Hey, I'm Marjan - a spirited sweetheart. I came to AARF pregnant and saw my nine puppies through the adoption process. Now that they all have their furever families, it's my turn! I may have recently had a litter of puppies, but don't let that fool you on my energy level. I love to romp and play. Whether it be a squeaky ball or a stuffed bunny, I love my toys and playing tug of war with others (doggos and humans)! I am still working on myself (aren't we all though?) and can have an over-the-top reaction when I meet someone new. As a result, my foster parents think I'd do best in a home without small kids for now. Otherwise, I am a strong independent woman who just happens to also be treat motivated and therefore I am learning new things everyday. I am both crate-trained and housebroken. I know 'sit' and understand 'down,' and I am even working on my leash skills. If you ask me, I am the perfect package of youthful personality mixed with adult mannerisms! Meet our adoptable dogs on Saturdays from 11 am to 1 pm in the backyard at AARF's new location- 302 Thurston St, W-S. Go to AARFWS.org to view and apply for our AARF dogs. Information about the process is available on our website. Please keep in mind that we do not adopt farther than 45 minutes from AARF.

Story
I adopted Rocky and Creed from my neighbor when he had to move before they were a year old. Lived there for four years and had a very large fenced private back yard. In past year, I’ve had to move and don’t have the finances to install a large fence. Have a much smaller yard and they can’t run like they need to. They are great around my four kids and neighbors kids but do get jittery around other dogs they don’t know. They are crate broke as that’s where they come in and sleep at night and part of day while at work. They are very smart and energetic, they need to have a large fenced yard or farm area.

Story
This is Brady, he is a blue heeler, lab mix, who is sweet and spunky. He will be 5 in April, is not fixed, but I would be glad to get him fixed if that is desired. I am not rehoming because of any behavioral issues, but I will be moving soon and starting a new schedule at work and won’t have the time to dedicate to him that he deserves. He loves to be petted, but is not a cuddler, he loves to find a cool spot on the floor beside you to curl up in, rather than chill on his bed. He absolutely loves water and playing with his toys, but equally loves to nap and chill with you. He is crate and house trained.

Story
Introducing Maggie, a beautiful terrier mix looking for her forever home. Although she is estimated to be only slightly over a year old this sweet girl is full of joy. She loves to play, get lots of attention and is always happy. She does have quite a bit of energy so an active family and/ or a fenced in yard is preferred. She does well with other dogs, particularly energetic ones looking for a playmate, but needs to be in a home without cats as they can be a little too tempting to harass. She is currently strong on leash but our foster is working on her training, the world has so much to offer she gets super excited. She is housebroken and crate trained and ready for a loving family to call her own! If a shorter stature bundle of fun is what you are looking for in a dog, look no further! Story
Leo is a one year old Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) mix that was recently adopted from the Guilford County Animal Shelter. He is a sweet boy who loves to cuddle and go for runs. He loves tennis balls but he will shred them if given the chance. He is house and crate trained. He would do best in a home with a yard or a family that likes to take him for walks and runs.

***This is a courtesy posting, this dog is not part of Hope Animal Rescue. We cannot attest to the temperament or suitability of this dog for your home*** Pleased to meet you! My name is Gerrard! I am a lovable and happy boy! Right now, it's just me and my mom at home. I am a friendly pup and I love to meet new puppy and human friends. I love hugs and kisses from kids too! My mom says I have never met a stranger! I am 5 years young! I am a mixed breed pup with black and white spots!. I am house trained and prefer to sleep in my crate at night. Lately though, I have been getting a little bored when my mom is at work and I've tried to play with her toys. She is helping me with that! We both think I need a backyard to get my wiggles out! I don't want to brag, but my doggy friends think I AM A BIG DEAL! I can run and play nicely with my friends! I hear cats are nice and friendly too, but I have never lived with one. What I love the most in the world.... is snuggling! I can watch netflix while you relax, but I can also hang outside! Do you have a forever home for me? I would love to meet you! Gerrard's adoption fee is $100. If you are interested in adopting Gerrard, please contact petassist@hopeanimals.org. Thank you! ***This is a courtesy posting, this dog is not part of Hope Animal Rescue. We cannot attest to the temperament or suitability of this dog for your home***
