Story
PLEASE SHARE,   meet George, he has been with us quite awhile and would really like a loving home of his own. His birthday is 6-30-12.  George loves to hike, swim and just lay around on the couch or cuddling in bed.  George is very well behaved and a great dog.  In George's old home he had always been an only dog, then the family has children. George is very afraid of small children.  George wants to find a loving home where there are no little children crawling around scaring him.  George is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm/lyme test negative, on Heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention.   His old mother calls him the Lone Wolf.   If you have room in your heart and home for George or any of our other wonderful, beautiful babies please email Miracle House Animal Rescue with your name and telephone number to miraclehouserescue@gmail.com. We are located just east of Cincinnati, Ohio, out Rt 32 in Brown County. We work by appointment only, after you are approved. Thank you.

Story
VERA is ready to play! She's a stunning young brindle mixed breed girl, our best guess is an Australian Cattle Dog mix. She's around 1 year old and fully grown at 33 pounds. She loves to run and play in the yard with her doggie pals. Every morning she hits the ground running, doing Daytona 500-style zoomies in the yard. Vera has struck up a special relationship with her foster sister based on a mutual love of playing bitey face and tug-of-war. Vera was painfully shy when she arrived at the rescue but she's blossomed in her foster home. She's still on the timid side in new situations and when meeting new people and needs the companionship of a confident playful dog who matches her in size and energy level. Vera needs a home with a physically-fenced yard suitable for high speed zoomies. She's housebroken and crate trained. If you'd like to meet Vera, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Vera at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30am-1:30pm at PetSmart Eastgate. She's very timid during adoption events, but please don't let that deter you, all she needs is a little patience. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoptable dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed and current on flea and tick and heartworm prevention. Story
ROLAND is an adorable little mixed breed boy looking for a home. He is 5-6 years old, a bit overweight at 23 pounds, he should be under 20 pounds. Roland is friendly as the day is long, he's very people-oriented and loves making new friends. Our best guess on breed is a "cowboy corgi", an Australian Cattle Dog/Corgi mix. He has a lovely medium-length coat. Roland is a medium-energy guy, fine with other dogs. If you'd like to meet this sweet boy, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhousrescue.org. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. You can meet Roland at our weekly adoption event, Saturday 11:30-1:30 at PetSmart Eastgate. Story
I'm a 7-month-old pup with a big heart and a gentle soul. When I first got to the shelter I was pretty shy, but my foster family has really helped me come out of my shell! I love having dog friends and could play with them all day-chasing, wrestling, and just being a goofy pup. I'm playful and super loving once I feel comfortable, but I can be a little shy at first. Give me a bit of patience and some kindness, and I'll be your loyal shadow and best buddy.

Story
Check me out! Aren`t I cute! My name is Blue! I am here at the SPCA looking for my forever home. I`m unsure how I may be around other pups or children. If you have either please feel free to bring them on in so we can all meet and insure a good match. I may need a refresher on housetraining due to being in the shelter. So please be patient with me and I`m sure with time I can be the goodest of boys we can become the best of friends.

These pups are in Hillsboro, Ohio too!

Story
Blitz5-month-old Male | Australian Shepherd / Labrador Retriever MixBlitz is a handsome, happy boy with his dad’s coloring and just the right amount of fluffy fur — soft and cute without the need for heavy grooming. At 5 months old, he currently weighs about 34 lbs and is expected to grow into a 40–60 lb adult, based on the size of his parents.Blitz is sweet, social, and smart, a wonderful combo thanks to his Aussie and Lab roots. He enjoys people, is eager to learn, and will thrive in a home ready to continue his training. Like most puppies, he’ll need help with house training, but he’s at the perfect age to catch on quickly and can already hold his bladder for several hours at a time.Blitz came to us through our Pawsitive Planned Parenthood program, ensuring a brighter future for both him and his mom. He has already been vaccinated, dewormed, and started on heartworm and flea & tick prevention. Before adoption, Blitz will be neutered, microchipped, and receive his rabies vaccine. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving pup with both brains and charm, Blitz may be your perfect match.Blitz's adoption fee is $300.You can apply on our website www.highlandhumanesociety.org OR stop into the shelter 12- 5 pm Monday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time.
