Banjo is a 2 year old male heeler mix. Banjo weights 42 lbs full grown. Animals must be spayed or neutered before they can be officially adopted. However, pets over 4 months old are eligible for our foster-to-adopt program and can go to their new homes while they wait for their scheduled surgery date.Banjo is a bit timid of men but likes the ladies. Banjo's adoption fee is $225, this includes his vaccines, flea & tick treatment, microchip and neuter surgery.

PLEASE SHARE,   meet George, he has been with us quite awhile and would really like a loving home of his own. His birthday is 6-30-12.  George loves to hike, swim and just lay around on the couch or cuddling in bed.  George is very well behaved and a great dog.  In George's old home he had always been an only dog, then the family has children. George is very afraid of small children.  George wants to find a loving home where there are no little children crawling around scaring him.  George is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm/lyme test negative, on Heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention.   His old mother calls him the Lone Wolf.   If you have room in your heart and home for George or any of our other wonderful, beautiful babies please email Miracle House Animal Rescue with your name and telephone number to miraclehouserescue@gmail.com. Online Adoption Application › Sweet Luna came to our rescue with puppies. She was an incredible momma. All of her pups have since been adopted but she is still patiently waiting on someone to call her their girl. She loves walks and just discovered how much she loves the sand volleyball court! This sweet girl came to DASH fearful and shy with little confidence. She has made great strides in the DASH Prison Training Program. Her handler says " Luna is better than a good pet, she's a good friend and a great roommate". When you wake up, she's looking at you like "What are we going to do today?", but she is not afraid to be alone either. She will do best with a person who responds in a calm, relaxed approach. She is highly intelligent, affectionate and loyal and attaches quickly to one person. She loves everyone though. She's a great dog who just needs a chance with a family that has time for her. She will need time to decompress, with love and patience to show her she is safe and part of the family. Luna is not cat-friendly but is sociable with other dogs, just not puppies.She has not been "kid tested" so proper meet & greets are always in order. We are excited and anticipate Luna finding her perfect home. Rescue Luna and she'll rescue you. Polo is blue heeler/Australian Cattle mix who is eager to learn and play. She is learning her basic commands at our DASH Prison Training program. So far, the feedback has been great! She loves people, gets along well with other dogs,  although she does claim her toys, she is willing to share her food.  She loves both men and women. She has not been tested with children or cats. Her trainer says she loves to play and gets the zoomies so exercise will be necessary. Her recall is excellent, she loves to be the center of attention and will be right by your side to cuddle.  Her friendliness is a great attribute.  She is housebroken, crate and leash trained.  She does well in crowds and tolerates bathing.  They are working on his manners when he gets excited, he tends to jump.  If you would like to meet this beautiful girl, the first step is to complete an application at www.dashresue.rescuegroups.org/info/adoptionVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 5, 2025, 9:59 am

Story
Walter is a 4-year-old Heeler/Border Collie mix with a big heart and even bigger energy. I have had him since he was a puppy and he is a sweetheart. As a high-energy working breed, Walter thrives when he has room to run and a job to do. He is smart, eager, and would do best in a home with plenty of space and room where he can burn off energy and feel like he is part of the action. Walter has had some tension with our other Heeler over the years, and unfortunately, their conflicts have recently escalated. They are litter mates and we have been told that is the cause of their conflict. After consulting with our vet, we have made the difficult decision to rehome Walter for the well-being of both dogs. It is important to note that Walter has not been the aggressor in these situations. He is neutered, fully up to date on his vaccinations, and on regular flea and parasite prevention (Simparico). Walter truly is a great dog who just needs the right environment to thrive.
