Story
Kat is STILL searching for her forever home, and she’s so ready for her people. She had another home visit, and while she and their dog got along beautifully, the family realized they weren’t quite ready for a second pup. Totally okay, but our sweet girl is wondering when it’s finally her turn. Meet Kat: - Blue Heeler / Spitz mix - Estimated birthday: September 20, 2025 - Size: ~15 pounds and fully grown - Good with: dogs, cats, kids - literally everyone. She needs a dog friend in her home to keep her busy. - Energy: smart, active, playful, LOVES to run - Needs: a fenced-in yard to safely zoom her little heart out And since we’ve been asked… what’s a Spitz? Think fox-like face, fluffy features, bright eyes, and big personality. The easiest comparison: a tiny Pomeranian-type look, which makes sense because Kat is that size - petite, adorable, and not getting any bigger - she looks big in her pictures but she is lot smaller in person. Kat is the perfect mix of clever and cuddly. She learns fast, bonds deeply, and lights up when she gets to stretch her legs outside. She’s been so patient, but she truly deserves a home that’s ready for her joy, her energy, and her whole little heart. If you’ve been waiting for a small, smart, happy adventure buddy… Kat is waiting right back Adoption fee: $450

Story
Resi is one handsome guy with brains to match! This sweet boy came to FDHS as an owner surrender through no fault of his own, and he’s been making quite the impression ever since. Resi is a smart, energetic pup who thrives when he has something to do. Whether it’s going for a walk, learning something new, or just exploring the world around him, he’s happiest when his brain and body are both getting a workout. He’s a perfect medium-sized companion and walks nicely on leash, making him a great fit for someone who enjoys getting out and about. Resi has shown interest in the other dogs here at the shelter and may enjoy a canine friend, given proper introductions. We don’t have any history of him with cats at this time.Resi is the kind of dog who will really shine in a home that can match his energy and continue helping him grow into the best version of himself. He’s a fun, eager, and lovable guy who’s ready to find a family to call his own!**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 40 lbs**

Story
My name is Fancy . I am estimated to be 2 years old. I am a very sweet girl, but I have a very quirky personality. I am very good in the house ; I am crate trained and have used a doggie door. I love jumping right in the car and going for rides ! I walk on a leash every day currently. When I first meet people, I am very cautious, and act scared. I defiantly bond very fast to women. Young kids scare me, and I tend to go hide in my safe place , my crate. Once I feel comfy around you , I act just like every other dog. I love to give kisses , play with my toys and go for walks on the leash. I love fresh carrots for a treat or a big rawhide to chew on. I have lived with several dogs before and enjoy their company. All my vet work is done, and I am microchipped. My adoption fee covers transport from Tennessee. I can be a very good loyal companion in the right setting. I don’t necessarily need a fenced in yard if you walk me on a leash every day.

Story
Jasmine is a gentle girl who has never know what it’s like to have a family or what it’s like to be a dog.She was one of dozens of dogs tied up on a property where “ accidental “ puppies randomly happened and she came to live with her FOCCAS foster along with her three puppies. Her puppies moved out and she is slowly beginning to trust. She’s super sweet and wants to be a part of what is going on. Broken dogs take a while to heal but she is ready to accept that change and has came a long way in her journey. FOCCAS is a foster based, non-profit rescue in Crossville, TN. The adoption fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea/Tick/Heartworm Prevention, and Sheltering. Adult Dogs are Heartworm Tested and Treated as Needed. FOCCAS does not DNA test or guarantee breed. Jasmine's adoption fee is $275. If transport is needed, there are additional fees to cover department of agriculture requirements and transport, the additional fee adds $300 to the adoption fee (any location out of Tennessee, East Coast, Great Lakes or New England regions)Thank You for Your Interest in Adopting a Canine Companion from Foccas-tn.org!To Apply Please Copy and Paste to your browser:https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=hb2428&method=online_form_html&formid=41LOCATED IN CROSSVILLE, CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN.
