Story
My baby's name is Pedge he's 2 born on may 20th. We came across Pedges picture on facebook a little over two years ago where he was being given away for free and had no information listed about him. In the 2 years we've been lucky enough to have him be apart of our family we have learned a few things. One of those things being he is a reactive dog (i.e doesn't do well with strangers, loud noises, or other animals). He has had a little to no exposure to any other animals beside my five-year-old cat Mina (as seen in the picture) they have a tolerable relationship, though Pedge does try to play with him. He has shown signs to be aggressive towards unknown people, and sometimes unknown animals, though he has never hurt anybody (human or not) we keep him separate from anyone he’s not comfortable around. Despite that Pedge is a very loving and cuddly dog. Unfortunately we are being forced to relocate him do to moving please consider adopting this amazing dog.

Story
Cuddles is a Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) born July 31 2018. She was acquired by a breeder, and the breeder information can be provided during adoption. She had initial vaccines in 2018 and follow ups in 2019. Cuddles is trained with both hand signals and verbal commands to sit, lay down and rollover. She does get excited, so treats are great for helping her focus but not necessary. Someone with further time and patience could train her to do more easily. She has been trained to not nip at ankles like many ACD dogs do (to herd). Cuddles did get into a nest of yellow jackets a few years ago and was stung on her backside. She has some bare patches on her back hind area and hind legs. Some hair is growing back, but she has a behavioral issue with licking these areas. We have tried medicines, sprays, head cone but success has been limited in curbing her from licking and fully healing. We hope to find a family that can give her the love and care she deserves.

Cabby is a pint-sized cutie packed with energy, and she would be amazing at any dog sports! Fly ball! Agility! She will always have a ball or toy in her mouth. The only thing she loves more than her toys is being with people. Cabby is very affectionate and sweet as can be! She loves everyone, children included. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm & flea/tick prevention.  ##2284716##

Story
Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxQD-9Bt1kw John Connor has been with the rescue since last summer since he and his mom were dumped in the country. He is about 18 months old now and I don't understand why he hasn't been adopted. He is adorable, he only weighs about 40 lbs, he is great with other dogs, people, and cats. Perfect little dude. He loves to run and play and splish splash in the water. He would make a great companion for an active individual or a family that enjoys outdoor adventures or spending lots of time in the backyard. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) -- Vermont (Brattleboro) Vetting: neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative). Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Hey my name is Circe! I am a good dog looking for an owner willing to offer proper training, socialization, and exercise. I’m a fun-loving dog who loves to play chase, so a home with cats or young kids wouldn’t be a good fit for my exuberant personality. I have done well with some dogs in play groups and would love to meet other dogs before I go home with them. I am a quick learner, and with the help of some yummy treats, I will make you proud with my excellent manners. I do have A LOT of energy and may be a bit too much for some families! However, a lot of energy also means a lot of LOVE! With time, training, and patience- you can help me be the best dog I can be!
