Story
We got Amren as a puppy from a ranch / working dog family. Her mother was a Blue Heeler and her father a Lab. Both parents are very smart, and she has turned out very smart too! Amren is an exuberant 7 month who loves the outdoors and activity. She loves playing fetch, tussling with our other dog (Rottweiler mix), bone chewing, and cuddling after we tire her out. She and our Cat are friends but she does chase and tussle with the cat, some cats may not tolerate her energy levels. We think Amren would do well in a house with another Dog, plenty of room to roam / run, other ways to keep her mind and body occupied and sharp! She is crate trained, house broken, and knows basic commands - sit, stay, down, place.

Story
It's all about focus with Joan. With the right incentive, who knows what she could learn? Anything you don't need a thumb for, maybe. Joan Crawford is now 5 months old, she was adopted and returned. She can be a little nippy, we hear, so young kids are probably not the best playmates. No, she did not bite a kid. She is sweet, loving, playful, active. She enjoys runs, toys, treats. She is crate trained, working on potty training and leash walking. Good with big and small dogs Joan is also good in the car, but do NOT let her drive. She doesn't have a license. Available through Legacy of Hope Dog Rescue

Sasha turned 2 years old this past August. She is super sweet and loving. My friend rescued her from an abandoned house when she was about 2 months old and I kept her ever since. Unfortunately, I am moving out of the US and can’t take her with me so she needs a new home.

Story
We heard someone say this about Rickey recently, and it just broke our hearts: "He's just kind of plain. Another big brown male dog. Nothing too special about him." But when we look into his eyes, we see something different. We see a weary traveler, a dog who's lived in filth and never had a clean home to relax in. A wounded warrior, who has scrounged for food and fought to stay alive when no one was taking care of him. A voiceless soul, who couldn't ask for help when his owner went into hospice. He and his doggy siblings were left to fend for themselves. Rickey may not be a coonhound or basset but he is absolutely the definition of a Helpless Hound. He been through so much in his 4 years, and has never known what it's like just be a dog. UNTIL NOW. Here's to you Rickey, and your new life. We are here to make sure you get to live every day to the fullest. We will make sure you know that you will be clean, fed, and have a warm home to rest your head in. We will take care of you everyday until your new family comes along. And we promise to remind you, every single day, just how special you are. This animal has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Now, he is prepared for his forever home!
