Some dogs are fireworks. Pippa is a slow sunrise. She’s house trained. Crate trained. And when I say crate trained, I mean little to no noise — she settles in like a polite little angel and waits patiently. Pippa LOVES other dogs. She’s playful, silly, and happiest when she has a canine buddy to romp around with. And when she plays? She does this goofy little hop up on her back legs that will absolutely steal your heart. With new humans, she’s timid at first. She takes a minute. She likes to observe. But if you give her time — real, patient, gentle time — she blossoms. And when she does? She becomes the biggest love bug in the house. The kind that follows you from room to room and soaks up affection like she’s been saving it. She’s not a “take her to a crowded patio on day one” kind of girl. She’s a “let me learn you and then I’ll love you forever” kind of girl. And those are the best ones.

Meet Delilah! 🌺 If you’re looking for a dog with a heart of gold, you need to meet Delilah. Delilah is a beautiful 3-year-old Blue Heeler who is SO incredibly sweet. Even after everything she’s been through, she continues to show the people caring for her just how loving and gentle she can be. Delilah came to us with injuries that were reportedly caused by being stabbed. She is currently healing from sutures and a drain tube while being lovingly cared for and monitored by our partners at STAR. Right now, Delilah’s only job is to rest, heal, and soak up all the love she deserves. And she is doing her part by being an absolute sweetheart through it all. She isn’t yet spayed, but she will receive the care she needs as she continues on her journey. We’re still getting to know everything about Delilah, but one thing we already know for sure: This girl is incredibly sweet, and she deserves a life where she never has to know anything but kindness again. Delilah is healing now. When she’s ready, we hope the next chapter of her life is the best one yet.
