Story
We adopted Paislee when she was a puppy from Rivertrail Animal Hospital in October 2013. She is a sweet girl. She can be shy and timid around new people, especially kids, but she isn’t aggressive or mean. She loves attention and craves love! She has been with her doggie brother her whole life and he is sick and will pass soon. We know she’s going to be lonely and are hoping to rehome her somewhere she will get lots of attention. We don’t have the time to adopt her a new friend. Please message with any questions.

Story
Sally Jo is such a sweet, friendly young girl. She had an old gunshot wound that had shattered her humerus (shoulder area) and had surgery to amputate her front right leg. Thanks to Sandite Team Animal Rescue. Sally Jo is being well taken care of by her awesome foster and the resident dogs. She enjoys pestering the resident cats and will playfully chase them if they run. We're glad she has the surgery part behind her and now for the healing process. If you'd like to meet Sally Jo, reach out to us!

Story
Buster has been with our family for 2 years now, and he is the best boy I could ask for. He is so gentle with everyone and loves everyone he meets. He doesn’t like other dogs because of a couple dog park instances when he was younger, but he does well if he can be slowly introduced. He has a cat sister currently and is very gentle with her. Unfortunately, I have an autoimmune disease that is making it difficult for me to give him the exercise and attention he needs and deserves. He will come with a kennel, food in a big container, bowls, leash, collar, harness, and toys. We are also willing to give $200 to go towards getting him adjusted in your home. We love him and want to make sure he gets everything he needs to be comfortable with the transition.

Story
Nebula was adopted as a small little puppy from the City of Tulsa animal shelter. She’s currently around 3 year olds but still acts like she’s 1! I’m hoping Nebula can find home where she can protect the garden, run around or be lazy on a bed. Nearly a year ago, her and her sister began fighting. Integration has been extremely hard. She’s done okay around other dogs, but for sure has trauma. Nebula is loyal, she will go out of her way to show you affection by giving you some kisses. She loves to cuddle even though she’s huge. She’s a pack rat, any toy she can get, she will bring outside! Most of Nebula is one of my best friends and she will be yours too. She’s very perceptive and will guard you and care for you. So if you love random zoomies, cuddles and howling at tornado sirens. This is your next best friend.

Story
What's up? I'm Kramer! I am told I am pretty chill for a heeler. I am dominant with other dogs and like to play rough. Sometimes my fur friends don't like my play style, but I am content playing with my humans or just going for a long walk! I do get super anxious when I am left alone. One time, at my foster's house I broke out of my kennel because I was so nervous. I would really like someone that is home most of the time and will help me work through my anxiety.

Story
We heard someone say this about Rickey recently, and it just broke our hearts: "He's just kind of plain. Another big brown male dog. Nothing too special about him." But when we look into his eyes, we see something different. We see a weary traveler, a dog who's lived in filth and never had a clean home to relax in. A wounded warrior, who has scrounged for food and fought to stay alive when no one was taking care of him. A voiceless soul, who couldn't ask for help when his owner went into hospice. He and his doggy siblings were left to fend for themselves. Rickey may not be a coonhound or basset but he is absolutely the definition of a Helpless Hound. He been through so much in his 4 years, and has never known what it's like just be a dog. UNTIL NOW. Here's to you Rickey, and your new life. We are here to make sure you get to live every day to the fullest. We will make sure you know that you will be clean, fed, and have a warm home to rest your head in. We will take care of you everyday until your new family comes along. And we promise to remind you, every single day, just how special you are. This animal has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Now, he is prepared for his forever home!
