Story
Hi! My name is Zydrate, but you can call me Z! I was traded between friends when I was a puppy, now I’m two years old! I’m part cattle dog, German shepherd, and husky. A.K.A a busy body that needs space and attention and a job to do! My current situation is less than ideal at the moment, as I’ve just gotten spayed and am still getting used to my four legged siblings again. I play rough, but can be told to stop (sometimes I need to be grabbed, keep me leashed on walks! Never been reactive negatively towards children, i set boundaries with big dogs, scared of chichis!) I’m an escape artist, so make sure you’ve got a kennel for me! Trained to sleep and eat in the kennel, spend most of my days outside if someone can keep an eye on me! Super loving and loyal to the end, let me be your new family friend, or work companion!

Story
Meet Chase, a one-year-old, maybe heeler mix, who’s come an incredible distance from his feral beginnings. What was once fear has turned into trust, and he’s learning every day that people can be kind and loving. Chase is crate trained with no accidents and enjoys quiet time in his safe space. He still needs a little help loading into the car (he prefers to be gently lifted), and his favorite “game” is running just out of reach outside—it’s his playful way of saying, “Catch me if you can!” Once you get down on his level, though, he’ll come close for shy kisses and even ask for belly rubs. Chase is looking for a patient, gentle family who will keep helping him blossom into the happy, confident dog he’s meant to be. Apply to meet him today at carerescueok.org!   ##2469131##

Story
Haven, a beautiful Blue Heeler with all the best traits of her breed — loyal and intelligent. True to her heeler nature, Haven is quick to learn, eager to please, and always up for adventure. Her absolute favorite thing in the world? Going for car rides with her person! Whether it’s a quick errand or a long drive, she’s happiest watching the world roll by right next to you. Haven is affectionate and deeply devoted to her humans. She would do best as an only dog so she can soak up all the attention, and because of her natural herding instincts, she’s best suited for a home without small children (she’d want to “herd” them!). We think Haven would make the perfect companion for an active person or even a truck driver who would like a partner since she loves to be on the go! Apply to meet her today at carerescueok.org! ##2404215##

Story
Ausky is about 6 years old. My wife and I have had him since he was a puppy. He is great with us. However, he does have some behavioral issues. Some of his notable issues are; hyper active, separation anxiety, isn't comfortable around unfamiliar faces, defensive around his food or treats, and he has snapped at friends we have had over and introduced him to. He is crate trained and understands basic commands like sit, lay down, and stay. Unfortunately we do not have a big backyard and are looking to start a family and will not have the time to train with him everyday and allow him to get the excersise he needs.
