Story
Isabella really needs to find her furever home. The shelter environment is very stressful for her. She’s a little shy to meet new people, but she warms up quickly with treats. She loves treats! Isabella is dog selective, and should be introduced to new animals with caution. She’s got lots of energy, and would love a human companion who will play with her and take her for long walks. Isabella wants to know, “Will you be my friend?”

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi! I’m Adelaide, a 40 pound, 5 year old cattle dog. My friends call me Addy. My breed comes from Australia but the police found me wandering in Kent. I was scared and lonely. Happier now at my foster home which has a big yard, one big human, one small human, and two playmates. My foster mom always tells me how beautiful and good I am. I’m house trained, not food or toy aggressive, love car rides, and although timid at first,  I warm up to people quickly.  Things to work on include pulling on a leash especially when I see critters ahead and reacting to new dogs and sounds. Because of my timidity and reactiveness, I don’t give a good first impression but if you give me a chance, I’ll make a very loyal and loving companion.   Foster mom Donna here. Addy is a delightful dog full of contrast. She has high energy outside but calm inside. She can be independent but also playful and affectionate. She likes people of all ages but can get nervous if too many new ones all at once. I leave her alone in the house with no crate and she’s been good. Her ideal owner will love the outdoors and have a yard where she can run free and explore. We have recently allowed her to be off leash and she’s been good at recall but took a few months to get her there. Thus a fence would be ideal. Story
Hello! I am Raven! I am so beautiful, just check out my awesome spots. I am your typical cattle dog mix: very smart, protective, and loyal for sure. I came here as a stray, so not much is known about my past and the staff/volunteers are still getting to know me and all my quirks. I will be happiest in a family who loves toys, enjoys playing with me, and taking me on awesome walks outside (or maybe have a fenced yard for me to zoom in!) If you know cattle dog breeds, then you already know a good bit about me and my personality, but I would love to meet you and tell you all about myself too. Come on down today! If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog`s better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict. The Adoption Fee Includes:- initial canine distemper combination vaccination- first worming or stool check- rabies vaccination (for animals over 3 months of age)- 24 Petwatch microchipping- flea treatment/preventative- spaying or neutering-heartworm testingAdoption fee: $135.00Per state law, ALL ADOPTERS must purchase a non-refundable 2025 dog license at time of adoption for any canine three months and older. The cost of the license is $9.20. (Senior Citizen or Person with Disability-$7.20)Leash and collar included
