Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Frannie - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Frannie is short for Francis or Francine meaning 'free woman'. And that's just what I am. BUT I'm now more then ready for the family life! And I've got a new lease on my life and plan on filling it with fun, living life to the fullest qualities that come with being a family pup! I came from a local shelter where I was on 'the list' just for being short of space. I'm learning for the first time what's it like being in a loving place where as I am pretty mellow for a youngster, I can now not have a care in the world to also be active and playful. I'm doing well on learning the ropes of family life and being all I can be!! I come in at about 29lbs where I should be as my adult weight. A pawsome size for well...everything. I'm big enough to enjoy all those action packed adventures but small enough to also enjoy those cuddle times with you. As a youngster at only 11months, I will need that daily exercise and playtime but with that in I should do just fine in town with a yard, out in the country or anywhere in between. I love people and do great with other pups making me a fabulous candidate to be a 'silbling' to another playful pup or I'm good with getting all the attention as your one and only! My beautifully colored short coat makes for me being easy peasy in the grooming department. An occasional bath, brush and nail trim makes me ready at the drop of a hat for all our adventures!! Whoa, pretty pawsome, huh! Being that youngster I'm always ready to be anything from being your sidekick to your cohort in crime! Your sidekick to be by your side but your cohort that won't tell a soul if you want to sneak out for a little one on one adventure!! I can be all that and a snuggler to boot! Can I be YOURS?!!!

Story
TEDDY 3YRS 30LBS MALE AUS CATTLE DOG LISA 1YR 20 LBS FEMALE MIX MUST HAVE ACD/HERDING BREED EXPERIENCE BONDED PAIR-Ever wanted a dog for you and a dog for your sig other but were afraid of clashing personalities? Well, not here because these two love each other, a LOT, so at least you know they get along perfectly and there is one for each of you. 2x the love!!!!!!!!!!!!! (And man, are they CUTE!) They travel often in the car with me for over an hour at a time - they do ride crated. Load up easy and ride quietly- unless we go through a drive through then Lisa has opinions about what she wants too. She likes to play ball, but not as intense as Teddy and will just let him get it and go find something else to do. They play and wrestle with each other and other dogs. Not overly rough but will get on ground with each other. They love to run laps in the yard chasing each other. They leave my uninterested dogs alone, as there is always someone else to play with. Lisa did not get along with my 1 male foster - just a little 10 pounder . Not sure who to started the war, but I did not leave them loose with each other * no actual fight/injury/contact ever occured. There was alot of noise 1 time, and they would grumble at each other when passing by each other's crates/run at work. Teddy is pretty easy going but doesn't like to be corrected. He will get bossy -verbal and pin someone who tries to But a sharp HEY from me and he will stop and walk away * never has been a fight or injury. Loves to play fetch and the other dogs do not challenge him to get the ball away from him. He would definitely destroy a stuffed toy if given the chance. They both love to chew on antlers/ nylabones/Benebone etc Teddy is a super cuddler and happy to hang on the couch or bed. Lisa loves attention too but takes a bit more to settle down at first. Both settle quickly and Quietly in a crate. They are both jumpers and when seeking attention. They have gotten better, but would need to be reminded of their manners going forward. We do not require a fenced BUT they would need a secure area to be able to run in and burn off energy weekly. Crate trained and housebroken   This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention.  The adoption fee is $400.00 for the pair. Story
This litter of puppies were left in a crate outside of a county pound. They are about 4.5 months old and weigh 19 pounds. They look like cattle dog mixes but we have no information about their parents. Will need herding dog experience to adopt.- please note your experience with the breed on application at the end. MURK - M They are puppies who haven't been living in a home, so will need guidance from their new families. New homes must be willing to put in the time for crate training, housebreaking, socialization, and manners training. They are highly food motivated which will make training easier and fun! They love people, attention, playing, and other dogs. Murk is the most outgoing and will run right up to say hello. He is doing great with working on commands; sit, down, go to bed, off, and waiting at doors. He loves treats and working to learning them. He hasn't been around cats much, but could probably live with them if he also had another dog in the house to play with. Have not seen around kids _ over 8 yrs is recommended. Located in Mentor, OH This animal is current on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. They have also been given flea prevention. Adoption fee is $350.00. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an application. http://www.ajssearchandrescue.org/adoption-applicationApril 25, 2024, 1:19 pm
