Story

Lily has been with our family since September of 2019. She was a very sweet and loving puppy but has encountered many issues as life has gone on. She became very high anxiety to the point where we could no longer take her to the vet in person. Trips would result in violent outbursts and bowel releases. We used a mobile vet but, even then, she would get violent when care time came. She has an anxiety that causes her to chew on her legs and because of that she has several hairless spots, but trying to medicate her and put something on it results in more violent outbursts. Even our kids are afraid to pet her anymore. We love her and want what’s best for her, but feel maybe our home and our abilities are no longer that.

Meet Bard from our Ren Faire Litter! Don't let his size fool you. Bard may be the smallest member of the crew, but he's got enough personality to fill an entire castle. This little guy is sweet, affectionate, and always happy to soak up attention from his favorite humans. Bard loves a good cuddle session and would happily curl up in your lap for a nap after a busy day. When it's time to play, he brings plenty of energy and enthusiasm. Whether he's wrestling with his siblings, chasing toys, or showing off his silly side, Bard knows how to make every moment fun. With his big heart, playful spirit, and adorable tiny stature, Bard is ready to charm his way right into someone's forever home. Priority will be given to families with fenced-in yards or acreage as Bard is a working breed dog. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to a number of locations within the continental United States.
