Story
Meet Wren, a resilient and loving girl who has been on quite a journey. She came to us as a stray and was adopted for 3 years, only to be brought back for a short time before being adopted again. After 8 months, I received a heartbreaking text: “We need to bring Wren back, we are moving and the rental in between moving won’t allow pets”. I was absolutely devastated, but I know Wren's story is far from over. This incredibly sweet girl will capture your heart with her affectionate nature, showering you with hugs and kisses. She's great on leash, housebroken, loves to play fetch, and gets along with dogs. She even enjoys car rides! Let's help Wren find her forever home where she'll be cherished and loved. 💗🐶. Did I mention she is photogenic 😊.My adoption fee is $295To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Story
Rezy Is Available for Adoption… Again This is exactly why we always stay on our microchips. Rezy’s previous family didn’t reach out, didn’t ask for help, and didn’t give us a heads up — they simply surrendered her to a shelter. Thankfully, because Rezy is microchipped, we were notified immediately. Another rescue stepped in without hesitation to hold Rezy safely until we could make the six-hour trip to bring her back home. Because of that teamwork, our girl is safe. Rezy has been let down by humans more times than she ever should have been — and yet she remains loving, loyal, and full of heart. She deserves better, and this time we are committed to getting it right. About Rezy FAITH HEELS GRADUATE — knows basic obedience Very smart and eager to please Potty trained Leash trained Crate trained Truly a well-rounded, amazing girl What Rezy needs most is companionship. She wants a human to love on, a safe yard to play in, and a forever home that won’t give up on her when life gets hard. Rezy has done everything asked of her. Now it’s our turn to show her what forever really means. Please share, advocate, and help us find Rezy the home she deserves — for life. Help us get it right for Rezy. ##2239114##

Story
Meet Waverly – Your Loyal and Loving Companion! Waverly is a 4.5-year-old Blue Heeler mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! She was found as a stray and brought to safety, but now she’s ready for a forever home where she can truly thrive. This sweet girl is friendly with people, including men, women, and older children. She’s also great with female dogs, big dogs, and even cats! While she hasn’t been around small dogs or male dogs, she’s done well with her office companions. She does get excited and tends to jump on younger kids, so a home with children over 10 years old would be best. Waverly is house-trained and walks well on a leash, though she has a clever side—she may try to climb fences or dig! A home where she can be walked regularly on a leash or has a secure, high-fenced yard with supervision would be ideal. Her favorite activities? She loves attention, rolling in the yard, and soaking up love from her people. Waverly would thrive with an adopter who can provide patience, structure, and lots of affection. She will come with her favorite giraffe toy and bed, ready to settle into her new home. She currently eats Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Stomach on a set schedule, and following her routine can help her adjust smoothly. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving dog who will be your loyal companion, Waverly might be the perfect addition to your family! 🐾 Are you ready to give Waverly the forever home she deserves? 🐾 Contact us today to meet this wonderful girl!

Story
Joey is a resilient and spirited Red Heeler (Cattle Dog) with a heart full of love and determination. He was found in a barn with a broken leg and was facing euthanasia, but thanks to rescue, Joey got a second chance — and his leg was amputated so he could live a full, happy life! Joey is friendly with other dogs, potty-trained, and ready to be part of a loving home where he can enjoy life to the fullest. He’s smart, loyal, and full of personality, proving that he doesn’t let three legs slow him down. If you’re looking for a courageous, devoted, and fun-loving companion, Joey is ready to be your four-legged best friend and share a lifetime of adventures.

Story
I rescued Petra from an abusive situation with the intent to foster, but after losing my dog to cancer she gave me purpose again. We bonded and healed each other, but the last two years have been hard. Ive known I cant give her the life she needs and deserves and have run myself ragged trying. My career and living situation changed leaving me with less time and money to spend on her. She is not happy in an apartment and its causing some behavioral issues. She responds incredibly well to training, but I cant afford to continue. She needs someone who understands heelers and has the space and patience to love her. Shes beautiful, intelligent, loyal, silly, affectionate, playful, and always happy to meet new people. She loves going exploring outside, shopping at stores that allow it, and riding around in the car. She is not good with other dogs and am unsure about children younger than 12. Petra is around 6, healthy, and would make the perfect companion to an experienced heeler owner.

Story
Ladies and Gentleman start your engines" Indie is here! This is one fun, active and loving dog! First thing that comes to mind when I think of Indie, is The Indianapolis 500. She is fast, has lots of fun power and is loyal to her sponsor/family. Indie just came back to us through no fault of her own. Sadly, her parents have been juggling work schedules and could not make it work. Indie has a wonderful temperament, a loyal, SMART and sweet blend of Cattle Dog and Australian Shephard. She's learned several commands and tricks. She would be ideal for an active, attentive family with a fenced yard. (Only reviewing applications with fenced yards) Indie can be "dog selective" so bring your dog.. Did I mention she's an Internet sensation in Dalton? Many have seen her cruising around downtown in the infamous Red Convertible and eating at local eateries. This gal fits in everywhere and loves having a side kick.Come meet our "Winner"; she will steal your heart! To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved.
