Story
This litter of six "watch" dogs was born June 11, 2023. They are Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler pups. You can see their mom, Swatch, and know that they will be medium sized when full grown. Right now they are still young and in need of a little training. They are good with cats, dogs, and with children. Timex is a male that is tricolor with one long white stocking. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for this active and busy breed. Would allow for play time, exploring and the confidence to succeed with their house training. To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Story
Please welcome, Luna! She is a gorgeous 3 year old Blue Heeler mix, ready to be your forever furbaby! She is around 50-60 lbs of pure goofy love, and lots of energy! She would do best in an active home, or someone who has a fenced in yard for her to run around. She is a total love, and just wants to lay in bed with you getting pets and belly rubs! She would do best in a home with no dogs, or a submissive male dog, but she LOVES cats! We have no small children, so we suggest a meet and greet! She was found on Craigslist as a puppy by my mother, who can no longer care for her. Luna has unfortunately lived for the past few years in neglect, with limited outside time, food, water, and love, and would need time to adjust to a loving home and be spayed and house-trained. We will help pay for vet costs of spay. We would love someone who has experience with herding breeds, as she will sometimes let her instincts drive her! Send us a message to meet Luna! We promise you'll fall in love!

Story
Watch out! May is fully vetted and ready to play! May was born on 10/22/23 she reminds us of a German Short-haired Pointer mixed with a Blue Heeler with her beautiful white coat, she sporting a black mask and dazzling gray/silver speckles, we think she will be medium-large sized when full grown, roughly 45-65lbs. May has been busy stealing the hearts of all of our volunteers and everyone she meets! She is the sweetest baby who loves to play and she's always ready for her next adventure. May is looking for a fun-loving family, she would make a great hiking/running partner and after all the fun is had for the day, she enjoys cuddling up for some snuggles. We love May and know you will too! A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for playtime, exploring and the confidence to succeed with her housetraining. To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Story
Unfortunately, due to allergy/living reasons, we need to rehome our beloved heeler-mix, Loki (male / neutered / almost 6 years old). He enjoys all kinds of activities like walking/hiking, wading in the water, tug-o-war, herding/chasing/being chased by people/kids/other dogs, general zoomiez, playing with/chasing balls, roughing around/wrestling, and bringing you random sticks/twigs he’s found. But also enjoys just lounging around, laying/napping in the sun, chewing on a good big bone for hours, sitting by a camp fire, cuddling, etc. For the last few years, he has been living under the same roof as 1 other dog, two cats, and a newborn-to-toddler with no issues. He’s a great non-picky eater; he will eat just about ANYTHING, even fruits/vegetables. I enjoyed raising him as a single guy for the first 2-3 years, but he would also make for a great family or farm dog. Located in Chattanooga, TN. Transportation can be arranged if necessary. Minimal rehome fee.

Story
Hello, I'm Poe, named after the brilliant poet Edgar Allen Poe, much like him, I'm quite the intellectual. Unlike him, I am a happy derpy boy- I'm a Blue Heeler with a zest for life. I am a 3 year old medium sized pup. I'm known around here for my energy, always ready for a game of tag or a brisk walk. I'm a friendly lad, I promise I have no secrets hidden under any of the floor boards in my doghouse. I might chase all those ravens, though! I've got a sweet nature, always ready to give a comforting nuzzle or a happy tail wag. Open a cask of amontillado with me and lets be the best of pals! Adopting me? Well, I'll bring happiness, companionship, and a touch of playful energy to your life. With me around, there'll nevermore a dull moment!
