Story
Maple here! I'm as sweet as maple syrup too. I'm a three year old heeler mix. I came in as a stray that was found roaming around with some other dogs. I so enjoy being outside and running around. Shelter/kennel life just ain't for me. I much prefer to be outside and living my best life, as most heelers do. I did have heart worms but I received treatment. All seems well now with me. Now if only I could find my forever home. Come by and meet me sometime! ADOPTION FEE $125   ##2424989##

Story
This sweet adorable dog didn’t have much luck in his first home. He was a gift that wasn’t wanted. Now that he is just over a year and half old, he is now in our rescue, fully vetted and ready for his “for real” forever home. Luke is very sweet and very smart but a little unsure. I get the impression he didn’t get a lot of love as it seems to be a little foreign to him when I hug and kiss him. He loves it…he just isn’t used to it yet. He would love an active family that loves to have fun as he loves to have fun. He will fetch, walk, hike, check the horses and cows with you. He’d probably do the laundry with a little training. He just needs a person that will give him the time he will need to transition into a loving environment. His adoption fee has been reduced to $250 and that is a deal.If you are interested in adopting please start by submitting the application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog you can also read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works and see a list of all of Luke’s adoptable friends here at the Funny Farm. He is ready to go to his forever home now. Don’t miss out on this smart, lovable guy.

Do you have room in your home, heart and life for this big lovebug? All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations. They receive monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
