Story
Hi! I'm a young Red Heeler. My name is Happy! I am good with other dogs and kids over 12. Never been around cats so I don't know if I am good with them or not. I am High Energy with excitement. I am leash trained but could use some work as I tend to pull a bit to get to our next adventure. I am also crate trained and mostly house trained. I just need a regular schedule and some PAWsitive reinforcement to be your perfect girl. No Health or Behavioral problems. I love to play with toys and love cuddles. I find men to be very very scary and might hide in a corner until they are gone. I just want to learn and play and grow! Looking for someone who is as excited as I am about each day and the patience to help me become the most confident "good girl" that I can be.

Story
Hello everybody, my name is Bailey. I am a special boy and I can be picky about the dogs I get along with. I do not like cats! I am good with kids over 12 years only because I get nervous around them. I get sad when I am left alone, so I would like a family that are homebodies! I am partially deaf so I need someone with patience. Come meet me at the rescue!

Story
READY TO ADOPT! Located in Gray Tennessee (northeast of Tennessee) Oakley is going on 8 mo in foster care without 1 single application! Foster parents are willing to personally transport up to 3 hours. Asf also partners with an amazing transport team that runs to New England(Hearts Llc). Please read below about this aussome boy! Hi I'm Oakley! I am a super sweet boy and I LOVE to be right by my people...I am possibly the biggest love bug you will ever meet. I am a double merle so I do come with some special needs, but it's NOTHING that holds me back. I love to lounge around, go on walks, and car rides. The carpool line with all the kids is my favorite! Even though I can't see them, I know those happy smiling faces are there. I have a very calm, gentle demeanor and do wonderful with dog savvy kiddos. I can be a bit dog selective. Puppies and smaller females dogs suit me best. So once I'm settled in for bit I would absolutely LOVE for my family to make that addition. I have come a very long way with my feline friends. I still need some correcting with cats but with consistency I will be just fine. As mentioned above I am fully blind and would like to add I may have a slight hearing impairment. I had an enucleastion on my left eye. That is healed and I'm doing great after that surgery. My remaining right eye does require some care with flushing and drops to keep it clear of debris. Sometimes I can startle easily with a sudden touch and will back up. However I come back quickly for that pet on the head. Being blind has not held me back whatsoever. I quickly learned the layout of my foster home. I know every square inch of the backyard and neighborhood. I can even smell when we get close to home on walks. As far as my hearing impairment, I have excellent recall from the furthest point of the yard. So really its not so bad. Please know my disabilities do not define the amazing dog I am.🖤 Oakley is fully house trained, crate trained and walks well on a leash. UTD on all vetting and neutered. Oakely would benefit from someone willing to work with him on scent and touch training. Oakley will require a fenced yard or someone who will maintain several walks a day with a secure collar such as a martingale. Oakely is at times easily startled and can slip a harness or traditional collar. If Oak sounds like your pup, please fill out the application.

READY TO ADOPT 🐾 Located in Gray Tennessee (northeast end of Tennessee) Cooper is going on 7 mo in foster care!! Foster parents are willing to personally transport up to 3 hours. Asf also partners with an amazing transport team (Hearts LLC) that runs to New England. Please read all about this amazing boy below! ✨️ Hi I'm Cooper! I am a 3 year old double merle with the softest coat you will ever pet. I am putting myself out here again in hopes of finding my forever family...and I mean forever!! I am such a fun, lovin' guy and I'm up for just about anything. Car rides, walks with my people, backyard fun with my foster siblings or hanging out at the local dog social making new pals. As you can tell I play really well with dogs but I also have a huge heart for kids. I will trade those tiny humans kisses for pets and couch cuddles any chance I get. I do ok with cats, this is something I've really come a long way with. Other small pets like house rabbits or back yard chickens are a NO! . I am not to be off leash as I will bolt. Its like a game of catch me if you can. I walk well on a leash but I do require a little redirection. My recall is decent when we are in the fenced yard and I know my boundaries well. I am crate trained and house broken. Over all I am a very good boy but I could use some extra training. I really aim to please and I catch on quickly. Since I am a double merle I do come with a genetic eye anomaly. My eyes are a tad under developed causing a slight vision impairment. Don't let that scare you! I promise my impairment does not hold me back. If I sound like your kinda guy please fill out the application!! https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family. All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
