Great dog, who knows basic all obedience and some advanced obedience he just doesn't have what it takes to be a service dog. House broke, crate trained, fetch, walks well on the leash. We require a fenced-in yard without other pets or children for his adopter. Would do best in a home with other dogs or children. Looking for a local adopter, with a fenced-in yard. Story
Meet  Max-   a 12 week old puppy found on the side of a busy highway with his two siblings.  Max is absolutely adorable.  He has all the puppy vibes- playful,  mischevious, curious and loving.  Max enjoys playing with his foster doggy brother.   He has the softest fur and chocolate brown eyes that just melt your heart.  Max isn't shy about asking for belly rubs either.  Max's brother and sister are all in foster to adopt homes- and Max is kind of on his own.  He has started his vetting with wormer and flea and tick and scheduled to be netuered very soon.  We ar hoping to get Max into a loving home of his own.   ##2225692##

Story
Spike was our neighbors dog, that lived next to the property my kids live at. He lived on a 15 foot chain attached to his dog house. The neighbors fed him but never played with him. They asked my kids to watch him for a few days and never returned and then finally called and said they were not coming back to get him. We put him on a 75 foot dog run and bought him toys since the yard is not fenced. It took a him about a week to figure it all out but it has been a joy to see him come alive and learn to play. However we cannot keep him and are trying to find him a good loving home. My kids are expecting their first child soon and just not in a situation to keep him. He is a loving dog but still learning the basics of playing, coming to his name, and learning commands. He is getting heart worm. Micro chip and neutered on 10Dec2024. Spike is a good dog and really needs a good home.

Trouve is the sweetest girl! She has been with us about 3 weeks and has settled into our family nicely. She loves her people and enjoys snuggling. She plays well with our Rat Terrier mix and has enjoyed meeting our neighbors. She is looking for her permanent family. She loves everyone she meets. Very smart and want to please, already learned sit, down, shake. Walks great on a leashSweet Trouvè is looking for her forever family. 1-2 years old, good with everyone she has met, crate and house trained. I tried to show her coloring in the close up. Her eyelashes and whiskers on the brown side of her face are dark. The eyelashes and whiskers on the white side are white. It is the cutest thingTrouvé is about 18 months old. She weighs 25 lbs and is suspected to be a Heeler-Jack Mix. She is crate trained and house trained. She knows a couple of commands.  She is obsessed with toys and loves to play. She is high energy - not a cuddle bug at least yet - but she has been through a lot, so that's understandable. Found by our behavior vet in Johnson City, TN. The owners were found and admitted to abandoning her. She has been recently vetted and spayed. Trouvé is a dream and Doc would love to keep her but has 2 older dogs in the home who are grumpy and have vetoed this as an option. Trouvé means "found" in French. Maybe you prefer Truvee like Dolly Parton's character in Steel Magnolias? Available dogs are met by appointment only and pre-approved adopters ONLY.Our dogs are currently in a foster homes which can answer your questions better than anyone else. We promise our fosters that we will qualify all potential adopters before we ask them to communicate with potential adopters. The application is the first step.
