Story
Rana was dumped in someone's yard who brought her to MARF to find her a home. She a sassy little girl who bosses the big dogs around in the foster home, since she is a HERDING BREED MIX of Blue Heeler and who knows what?!She is full of love and energy to spare, stays right with the foster mom as she walks the farm checking on the horses, goats and chickens, which she has interacted with but does not bother. She is house and crate trained, knows the word NO, and comes when she is called. She loves to play outside with the other dogs in the foster home, so must have a securely fenced yard to play and potty in, along with another playful dog in the home to play with. She loves her dog toys, her chew bones and will bring you a toy.She is highly intelligent, easily trained, easy to handle (according to the foster mom) and won't get past a medium sized dog.Foster mom says she is "the perfect puppy to foster". She gets a little bossy at Petco, trying to be Alpha, so be aware, that she cannot be with another Alpha in the home and make sure you know the herding breed. They HERD! She is great with the foster's granddaughter (but they are also used to herders). She is FULLY VETTED and her adoption fee is $350 Apply at Madisonarf.org

Story
Wiley was rescued as a stray. We brought him in to nourish him back to health and prepare him for his permanent home. He is full of energy and extremely athletic. He is very intelligent, enjoys fetching and loves people and other dogs. He has strong herding instincts and would be great on a farm. We have invested around $1000 in him to get him completely up to date on shots and neutered. He is a specimen.

Story
Cupid has been with Off the Chain for the longest...2 years now! She gets scared so easily sometimes. However, give her another semi-confident dog to play with and she really opens up and is like a completely different dog. Therefore, you will have to be very patient with her and be willing to (possibly) do more than one meeting. That being said; Cupid's foster-to-adopt period is 4 weeks instead of our standard 2 weeks.

Hunter is so sweet with his foster housemate Andy. He loves giving kisses; however, he still likes staying at home. He enjoys walks close to home. He is still okay with car rides, not long trips. He sleeps in the bed; however, at night, he prefers the crate with the door open. He loves chewing on his chewy for comfort and to reduce boredom. He is an amazing dog. He is protective of his pack. He did test POS for Heartworms and has completed his Heartworm Treatment as of 4-26-24, he does have to be calm for the next month due to treatment and recovery process ! Please apply for him at ghhs.org
