Story
Cupid has been with Off the Chain for the longest...2 years now! She gets scared so easily sometimes. However, give her another semi-confident dog to play with and she really opens up and is like a completely different dog. Therefore, you will have to be very patient with her and be willing to (possibly) do more than one meeting. That being said; Cupid's foster-to-adopt period is 4 weeks instead of our standard 2 weeks.

Story
Hi my name is Turbo - like the engine. I am super fast, like lightning. I can go from 0 to 60 in 5 seconds flat. I'm a working dog so I take pride in my speed and my ability to get things done. Even if what I'm getting done is napping on the couch. Everyone needs to be good at something - just kidding I am a hard worker but I like to relax too.The volunteers love me because I'm a lot of fun. I am also learning its fun to be affectionate and that manners is not a dirty word - as in I get a lot of praise for walking like a gentleman on the leash. I really love hearing I am a good boy so I'm trying extra hard to make my new friends happy. I also make them laugh so I'm a two for one bargain. I guess you just need to come in to meet me for yourself to see how awesome I am. See you soon - xoxo Turbo...Adopt from MCASAll of our dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (and treated if positive), microchipped, and current on all vaccinations. We are open 7 days a week 12pm to 5pm for adoptions, no appointment necessary!Adoption Center: 931-375-1402If you would like more information about this dog, please contact our volunteer coordinator, Kim, at kraffauf@gmail.com

Story
Hi I'm Penny! I just know what you're thinking - I'm the cutest puppy you've ever seen! I'm pint size now, but they tell me I'm going to grow up to be a perfect size 'medium'. Well, as cute as I am, I'm also friendly, smart and playful. I'm the total package! I'm about 12 weeks old now, just beginning to learn the ropes on how to grow up and learn all the big dog stuff like walking on a leash and sitting. I'm at the perfect age to be a part of a family and grow up together! When I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the most guesses were that I'm a Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! **Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.

Story
This is Mora, a beautiful 3 year old blue Heeler. Spayed, vaccinated and dewormed. She needs someone who can be responsible and serious and someone who can give her a lot of love and care, since she is very loving, active and protective. She loves to play with the ball and swim, it is her passion. She is very healthy. She has always lived inside the house. She only goes outside to play and potty. She does not destroy or break anything inside the house. She is very polite. She is good with small dogs and children. Interested people will be asked to have a large yard where she can play, and to be in contact with us until she gets fully used to the new family, photos or videos so we know she is okay. We are willing to have her back if doesn't work.
