Story
Roxanne or Roxie is 2 years old. She is a very loving and energetic dog. She would do amazing in a single pet home as the only pet in the home. She has clothes that she loves to wear that will go with her. She has potential to work around a farm with the right owner. She was originally an outside dog, but she loves to come in to sleep and snuggle with her family. She is housebroken and spayed. She knows some commands but only does them for attention (no treats involved).

Story
Please contact Vivienne (viviennejames@comcast.net) for more information about this pet.Meet Miss Princess!  This 8 year old 30 lbs gem had a horrible life prior to joining the Cavalry.  She was part of a hoarding case where the family had way too many dogs and could not properly take care of them.  Because of this Princess and her doggie family ended up in a rural Tennessee shelter.  She was a thin has could be and very weak.  Miss Cheryl and her mom Ruth felt sorry for her and decided to rescue her.  An immediate trip to the vet was scheduled.  Princess was diagnosed with long term untreated diabetes.  This was the reason she was so thin.  What a sham that no one noticed the symptoms but them.  Poor Princess almost died.  Her vet was truly amazed that she lived.  Her diabetes is now under control and she has gained weight.  Princess is one of the sweetest dogs ever.  She is a true love bug and so very grateful for the love and care she has received.  She is thriving and would make someone a great pet.  Unfortunately as a result of the diabetes Princess has limited vision.  She is amazing though.  After she gets the 'lay of the land' you would never know it.  She does not bump into things and can navigate stairs up and down.  It truly is amazing.  She is a very loving dog who just wants to be with her people.  If you want a canine shadow then she is the one for you.  Despite her lack of vision, Princess enjoys walking and you would never know her sight is limited.  She is a dog that you could take any where.  Princess loves to ride in the car an is always up for a trip just about any where.  She has been on several with her foster family.  She is housebroken and crate trained.  She is also trained to sit patiently snacking on a baby carrot when it is shot time.  The distraction of the carrot does the trick so giving the insulin shot is not a problem.  She is good with other dogs her size and age but not young rambunctious puppies or dogs.  She would also be fine as an only dog.  She would be happy to soak up all the attention.  If you would like to give a home to a wonderful special needs dog, Princess is the one for you.  To be considered for her forever family please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  September 24, 2023, 6:50 pm

Story
Blue Merlin is true blue to his Blue Heeler breed traits. He is all about being in charge and knowing where he is headed in life.   This 2-3 year old boy is 40 pounds and a very loyal companion.  Smart dogs don’t give their hearts to just anyone and Merlin is looking for a really strong leader to be his guide through life. He wants an owner to be smarter and as focused in life as he is.  Blue Merlin loves to have you get that leash out and go on adventurous walks.  He loves running around the fenced yard and playing with other dogs and having the time of his life.  He was part of an Amish breeder colony a few months ago and they decided he was not to be a stud anymore and gave him up to a woman who is a traveling nurse.  She doesn’t have a consistent stay at home lifestyle for her to have a dog for long. This boy plays hard and will herd other dogs that don’t play as hard and fast as he does.  He will chase cats and bark at them for sport but NEVER hurts a one.  They are just a fun little living thing to play with and have some excitement. The cats are not amused but some cats might love it!  Merlin is all about love and getting your attention and praise.  He has lots of love waiting for the right someone and there will never be a smarter dog that you will ever own than Blue Merlin.  Please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 24, 2023, 6:50 pm

Story
When you see our puppy boy, Buster Grant, you cannot ignore his gorgeous coloring and those amazing white stocking front legs.   What a runway model he is for a mixed breed puppy to adopt!   Born on March 20th to an Australian Cattle Dog/Heeler mom, it appears that there are several dads responsible for all 8 of these beautiful puppies that she had.  Sadly the owner of the mom was over the puppies and raising them and we got word he was planning to put an end to their life.  Critter Cavalry’s foster extraordinaire, Cissie, jumped right in and stopped that horrible fate. Buster currently weighs 15 pounds.  She now has them at her little farm and they are thriving and having a great time running with the big dogs and the horses.  This boy is unique in so many ways and we can tell you that he is a smart boy who likes to try to figure things out before jumping into trouble.  He is a very happy and healthy pup who loves to play hard and then wants to chill in the shade and wait for his human to give him love and take him on adventures.  He is ready for adoption very soon and we are letting the world know that this 15 pound boy who is destined to be a 45 pound adult, is available and we are taking applications now!  Email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested. Story
My name is Midge and I am a Heeler mix puppy born May 16th to a Heeler momma who raised us with love.  The family who did not spay my momma has reached out to Critter Cavalry Rescue to help find homes for me and my 3 other siblings.  I am a smart little cutie pie but I honestly do not know who my dad was.  Momma was a Heeler and she is a very good natured dog.  I am very smart, will probably be a 45 pound adult dog and I love every living creature.   I just need a smart owner who is experienced and who will exercise me every day.  I have so much potential and definitely the pretty good looks.  If you are interested in adopting me please email Critter Cavalry Rescue for an adoption form:  ccrtennessee@gmail.com   I am ready to pack my puppy overnight bag and go home with YOU!!!!!!! ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.September 24, 2023, 6:50 pm
