Story
Grey, 8-year-old Mini Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog). Energetic, Smart, Loyal, Trained. He is dog-selective and would do best as an only dog. He is loyal, affectionate with humans, and well-cared-for, including up-to-date on vaccinations and vet checkups. Although he has been good with older children and has never shown aggression, with a newborn in the house safety has been a concern. Looking for a safe/active environment where he can thrive in.

Story
Dodge is a toung, strikingly handsome Blue Heeler/Lab mix with a bright spirit to match his good looks. About one year old and weighing 43 pounds, this mostly black shiny boy has a beautiful gray-speckled chest that gives him a regal, eye-catching look. With longer legs and a slimmer build than a typical Heeler, he carries himself with confidence and athletic grace. Whatever breeds make up his DNA, one thing is certain — Dodge is sweet, playful, and incredibly smart. Dodge’s story began in the countryside, where he arrived at a rental home alongside a female Heeler mix and their six puppies. When the family couldn’t keep dogs, a cattle dog rescue stepped in to save the puppies, the mama was rehomed, and Dodge found his way to Critter Cavalry Rescue so he could be fully vetted and matched with the perfect home. Still very much a puppy at heart, Dodge brings goofy charm, happy energy, and a love of life wherever he goes. A fenced yard and an active household will help him burn off his enthusiasm and enjoy the adventures he craves. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all ages and sizes, is respectful of cats, and would likely be a hit with kids who can keep up with his playful nature. Dodge is learning leash skills quickly and would make an excellent walking partner. He’s eager to learn, quick to please, and happiest when he’s close to his people, watching over them and soaking up attention. With continued training, Dodge is going to be an incredible lifelong companion. If you’re ready for a fun, smart, and loyal sidekick, email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and tell us your city and state. Transport is available from Tennessee to the northeastern states. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com.February 1, 2026, 12:15 am

Story
Rocky’s story began when he was found in a very rural front yard—hungry, alone, but unbelievably sweet from the very first moment. He was taken to the local small town shelter for safety, but an experienced foster took one look at his sweet face and knew this boy needed more than a shelter kennel. She saw something special in him… and she was right. Rocky is a smart and striking 5-month-old Red Heeler mix, about 24 pounds, with the most adorable freckles and an expression that melts hearts instantly. He is affectionate and loves to snuggle just as much as he loves to run and play outside. Rocky enjoys his chew toys and, like most puppies, may occasionally snag a sock or blanket—but he’s doing wonderfully learning what’s his and what’s not. He does great in his crate, is progressing nicely with house training, and is eager to please. He plays well with other dogs and has been around cats in his foster home—curious but respectful, never aggressive. Rocky responds well to gentle verbal correction and truly wants to do the right thing. And when he wakes up? He has the sweetest little yawn that will make you smile every single time. This loving, highly intelligent puppy is ready to grow into a loyal, lifelong companion. If you’re looking for a best friend who will stick by your side for years to come, Rocky may be your perfect match. Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com to learn more about adopting Rocky. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 1, 2026, 12:09 pm

Story
Meet Romeo – The Handsome Farmhand with a Taste for Freedom 🐾❤️ Romeo is a heeler mix with a heart as big as the open pasture he dreams of roaming. He’s the kind of dog who would rather listen to the wind in the fields than the noise of the city, a true country boy at heart. He’s not one for the spotlight, but once he knows you, he’ll follow you around like a loyal ranch hand. Romeo gets along well with other dogs and loves having a buddy to share the day with. Cats, however… he says “hard pass.” As for fences? Well, Romeo sees them as more of a suggestion. He’s been known to hop over just to lay down on the other side, not to run off, just to enjoy that little extra bit of freedom. If you’ve got land, patience, and room for one sweet, independent spirit, Romeo is ready to be your right-hand dog. A little freedom, a little love, and a lot of country charm that’s all this boy needs. 🐶🌾

Story
She is beauty. She is grace. She is elegance and taste…No wait—that’s Mrs. United States! But honestly, this girl could win any title. Meet **Remi**! Due to some really tough circumstances, Remi’s family is heartbroken and needs to rehome their critters—Remi included. Remi is a stunning blue-eyed lady, about **3 years old**, weighing around **50 lbs**, who **loves to play and be outside**. Because of that, **a securely fenced yard is a must** for her happy, active lifestyle. She’s a natural protector and will gladly watch over her humans, animals, and home. She can be a little unsure when you first meet her—it takes her a bit to warm up—but once she knows she’s safe and loved, she’s the **ultimate cuddle bug**. Lay on top of you? Absolutely. Remi does well with kids who mind their manners, is **smart as a whip**, and **stubborn as a mule** (the perfect combo ).If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with personality for days—and you’ve got a fenced yard—Remi might be your girl! Apply online https://russellrescuetn.com/adoption or email Russellrescuetn@gmail.com if already approved   This is beautiful Remi!Introducing REMI!!! We’ve been keeping this girl under wraps while she gets all her vetting done and we learn a little more about her.   She’s about 10 months old and she is full on puppy! She loves to run, jump, play, chew, cuddle, nap in weird positions, among other things.  She needs lots of room to run!!! This is a must! Fenced in yard and lots of outdoor space to play and romp around! She likes to dig and then lay in the hole where it’s nice and cool!   She is great with kiddos! She loves to jump on the trampoline with my kids and play in the sprinkler with them too!  She would do well with a playmate that is around the same age and size as her, or no other dogs. She is non-stop energy, older dogs and smaller dogs are probably not gonna think her antics are as funny as she thinks they are ‍She is crate trained and potty trained!! She’s still a little under weight but she’s getting there. She barks when new people come over, she’s still working on her manners in that area. We know she’s beautiful and everyone is gonna want to adopt her. Please read through this list and if your home MEETS HER NEEDS we’d love for you to apply at Russell Rescue TN.https://www.russellrescuetn.com/application-for-adoption/Or email russellrescuetn@gmail.com if already approvedThose beautiful blue eyes are looking out and saying will you please be my foster? She’s a 9 month old Aussie Shepherd!
