Meet Charlie! Charlie is an incredibly handsome boy with a personality just as lovable as his looks. He’s the kind of dog who turns heads and steals hearts wherever he goes. Charlie has a great balance of energy. He loves to run around the yard, explore, and take in all the smells, but he can also settle down and enjoy some relaxed “couch potato” time with his people. One of his favorite things? Giving hugs. He’s an affectionate, people-loving boy who just wants to be close. He is dog friendly and enjoys the company of other pups. Charlie is crate trained, takes treats gently, and has a sweet, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around. Charlie was originally saved from Harris County Pets in Houston, Texas, but was unfortunately abandoned in boarding by another rescue. He has been with our rescue for two years and is still waiting patiently for the forever home he truly deserves. He is fully vetted, neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention. He is currently in foster care and available for out-of-state transport to the right adopter. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and fun-loving companion who will give you hugs and keep you company through both adventures and downtime, Charlie could be your perfect match. Meet Porter, a 2-year-old Aussie/Great Pyrenees mix who believes every puddle is an opportunity and every water bowl is, technically, a splash zone 💦🐾 At about 42 pounds, Porter is the perfect size for adventure. He’s an outdoorsy kind of guy who would love a family ready for hikes, exploring, backyard playtime, or honestly anything involving water. Kiddie pool? Amazing. Creek? Incredible. Accidentally dumping his water bowl while having the time of his life? Also amazing. Porter would likely do well with other dogs, but cats are still a bit suspicious in his opinion. He tends to be timid around them and would need slow introductions. He also prefers not to share his meals and can get protective over his food bowl at mealtime, though he does fine with toys and treats. Because of this, we recommend a home with no small children. Beyond that, Porter is a fun-loving, active dog looking for people who will embrace his adventurous spirit and maybe keep a towel handy. Porter has been neutered, microchipped, and is current on vaccines and flea/heartworm prevention. All New Leash dogs are to be primarily indoor with supervised playtime outside only. 💲 Porter’s adoption fee is $75. If your idea of a perfect day includes muddy paws, outdoor adventures, and a dog joyfully splashing in literally anything wet, Porter is ready to dive into your life 🐶🌊

New baby - 2 under 2 in my house. Can’t keep her and am no longer a good home for Lennox. She makes an excellent companion dog- loves car rides, boat rides and being around her human(s). Possibly formally trained but I don’t know her commands. She will get between your legs and look up at you waiting for instructions tin can sit, lay down, and spin by command. Third owner, from family and an abandoned stray. Estimate about 8 years old.

Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)
