✨Sheldon✨ 🎂 Approximate birthday: 2/12/23 🦴 Breed: Mix breed - Heeler/? ⚖️ Weight: 💔 This poor guy's owner passed away and his world was turned upside down, and euthanasia scheduled if we couldn't intervene. So we took a chance, but adoptions, rescues, and fosters are still crucial. We're committed to providing safe havens, but we need space to do so, or we'll face incredibly tough decisions. Sheldon is a sweet guy but still doesn’t understand why he’s not in his home on a couch instead of locked up at the shelter. 🐶 He has not been tested yet. 👧 He has been fine with our dog savy kid tester. Ashton’s 8 years and has always been around animals since she was born. 🐱 He has not been tested yet. ✅ He is FULLY vetted already 🫀🪱He has not been tested yet 💲His adoption fee is $125 which includes includes spay/neuter, vaccinations (Rabies, parvo/distemper/lepto, and kennel cough), heartworm test (age appropriate), heartworm prevention while in our care, and microchip. 🏡 Apply to to give him a furever home through our online application https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MKY/Dog 🪪 We require a valid drivers license for background check. 😍 We do not have any pull fees for approved rescues! Story
Meet Remi 💙Age: 23 weeks (about 5 ½ months)Breed: Australian Cattle Dog / Blue Tick MixWeight: 29 lbsStatus: Spayed, Microchipped, Heartworm Negative & Up to Date on VaccinationsRemi is a beautiful young pup with a heart full of love and energy to match. At just under 6 months old, she’s already showing her sweet and affectionate personality — she loves people and is always ready to make a new friend.Remi was trial adopted, but unfortunately had to be returned because she didn’t get along with the other dogs in the home. Because of this, she would do best as the only dog in the household. She needs a space where she can feel safe and confident without having to compete for attention. The good news? Remi is great with kids and rides like a champ in the car, making her a fun and easy companion for adventures. She is not crate trained, and her house-training status is unknown — but she’s still a young pup with plenty of time to learn with the right guidance and consistency.Remi is already spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and heartworm negative — she’s just missing one thing: a forever home that will love her unconditionally. If you're looking for a loyal, kid-friendly companion who just wants to be your one and only, Remi might be the perfect match. 🐾💗Remi's Adoption Fee is $115.50 plus taxDogs are $115 and puppies are $110 unless otherwise noted. All cats and kittens are $75.00 unless otherwise noted. Our system automatically updates adoptable websites every two hours. Feel free to email or call us with any questions you may have. Our contact number is 270-887-4175. The shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30-4 and is closed daily for lunch from 12:30-1. Adoptions are done on a first come first serve basis for owner releases. Strays have a wait list.
