Story
Meet Waldo Waldo is looking for a fun-loving family. He loves ball and can play fetch until his legs fall off. While he would love an active family to play outside, go on hikes, swim, walk, or run, he is very adaptable and just as content to snuggle on the couch all day or take a nap with you, He enjoys car rides. If he shows interest in something that seems like a toy, but it’s not, just remind him “not a toy! Here’s Waldo’s toy,” and he is very good at listening. He knows sit, lay down, drop it and crate trained. His one weakness is food left out where he can reach, or possibly even climb to reach. He would do best in a home that can enforce a no-human-food policy or help him master skills like “leave it” and “drop it”. He also gets a little over-enthusiastic about guests and but calms down after a few minutes, but could use some additional training not to jump as a greeting. Waldo would be successful in many types of families. He loves cats and okay with dogs who don’t come on too strongly, but can learn to get along with specific dogs once he gets to know them. Waldo would probably do best with kids over 10 who know better than to jump on him or pull his tail. While he showed a lot of patience he showed signs of stress like whale eye, yawning, and licking with toddlers. Waldo is a good boy and deserves a family to love him. Story
Molly is a sweet four-year-old female Australian Shepherd. She was abandoned by her former owner in an apartment before being rescued and brought to the shelter. She has a beautiful cream and orange coat and weighs just under 50 pounds. She will be loyal and most likely a velcro dog with a new owner. Nice medium calm energy. Current on all appropriate vaccines.

Story
Hey y’all, I’m Kiwi! I’m a 2 1/2-year-old Heeler mix with a gorgeous reddish-brown and white coat. I’m a healthy 45-pound girl who’s been spayed and vaccinated, and I’m heartworm negative. I’m crate trained. I walk like a dream on a leash and love going for walks. I’m a big fan of children and I’m known for being super sweet and gentle. I’m not a good match for homes with other dogs or cats and need to be your only pet. I promise to fill your home with love and joy all by myself. I was surrendered by my previous owner, so I’m looking for a new family to give all my love to. I’m the kind of girl who loves attention and baby talk. I’m happiest when I’m sitting in your lap, getting belly rubs, or just being close to you. I might bark at strangers, but that’s just my way of saying hello before I roll over for some pets from them. I can be a little shy and timid at first, but once I warm up, I’m full of energy, kisses, and cuddles. I have a prey drive, true to my working dog nature, but I’m very responsive to correction. I might react to other dogs, but with some training, I know I can learn to be even better. My personality is all about being happy and carefree. I love to play, especially with kids, and I’m gentle enough not to knock anyone over. Once you meet me, you’ll see why everyone says I’m the sweetest, most loving dog ever. I love to sit up straight, tilt my head, and lay down for some good belly rubs. I’m just a big love bug looking for a family to snuggle with. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s all about love and fun, look no further. I’m Kiwi, and I can’t wait to start our life together! I’m being fostered in Burkesville, KY but can be transported to nearby states for the right home.

Story
Agile, extremely smart, and sensitive, Bindi is a stunning cattle dog mix who is looking for an active but fairly quiet and gentle home. She adores spending time outside as much as loves curling up in a comfy bed. Bindi's ideal home is with folks who are active, patient, and gentle, and will help her gain confidence and go on lots of outdoors-y adventures together! If you're the type of person who would love to help a pup blossom and who prefers a day out in the stunning solitude of a wilderness hike over a bustling city adventure, then Bindi would love to meet you!
