Story
Hi, I am Shadow. I am a super sweet but shy young lady looking for a home. I like to cuddle, eat treats and play with other dogs. I was very scared when I first came to the shelter but I have started to warm up and make lots of friends. I need a home without kids under 12 so I can warm up at my own pace. I would love to have a chance to meet you, warm up and become your best friend.

Story
Mara Jade is an almost 4-year-old, female, Australian Kelpie mix who is looking for her forever home. She is incredibly smart and loyal, and loves to please! She loves playing frisbee, tug of war, fetch with balls and sticks, and catching snowballs! She loves sunbathing in the summer and snuggling under the blankets in the winter. While she needs to be in a single-animal home, she is great with kids who can respect her space when she needs it. She loves hindquarter scritches and will back her tush right into you to get closer when you hit the right spot! She welcomes any food you offer her (except greens!) and will politely ask for cheese, peanut butter, and banana tax! Mara Jade is house and crate trained. Mara Jade is being fostered in Westminster, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/mara-jade/. Story
Our petite Coney is a special soul, who just wants to be loved by her people. Left abandoned after her family moved, she is ready to find a life partner in adventure, relaxation, and love. She is only 28 pounds and is fully grown, so we put her as a small dog simply so she would not get overlooked. She fits right in between your legs and will snuggle there. She would love to be a lap dog and walks well on a leash. She enjoys playing with other dogs, and is polite about that, though being with people is what she would always prefer, and she would like to be an only dog with doggie friends. She is medium energy, and loves to lie under a desk while you are working or by your feet in the kitchen. She lives with a dog-savvy cat in the foster home and does just fine. She is quite well-behaved and loves her crate as her safe space. Coney has a smile on her face most of the time, and is a gentle soul ready for her forever!

All Aboard!!! Animal Rescue Passenger Splenda Waiting for a Forever Home! ADOPTION FEE: $450 Meet Splenda: This adorable girl is so sweet. She will require some extra patience as it is obvious she was not cared for very well in her previous life. She has made her way to Colorado for a better life and all the love. She has been fostered with dogs of all sizes and has done well! From Their Previous Shelter: Playgroup and snuggles - https://youtube.com/shorts/ClQ6Qab7f54?feature=share Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/T3e_ge-apkU?feature=share Getting pets - https://youtube.com/shorts/gAfjWmS1xD0?feature=share Playgroup - https://youtube.com/shorts/9G40Yjc3Jdk?feature=share Zooming around with big and small dogs - https://youtube.com/shorts/lV5agbPcz5I?feature=share With big and small dogs - https://youtube.com/shorts/lii9pzaWTag?feature=share Sweet like her name, Splenda is a gentle and dainty 1-year-old Cattle Dog mix who’s just 31 pounds of pure love. She arrived as an unclaimed stray, and it’s clear she didn’t have much affection in her past — but she’s now learning what it truly means to be cared for and cherished in her foster home. She even sleeps quietly through the night and greets with gentle kisses now. Splenda is a true dog’s dog who feels most confident and happy around other pups, big or small. She’s incredibly gentle, submissive, and sweet, and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog (or two!) to show her the ropes and share her days. She absolutely loves the company of other dogs and blossoms with canine companionship. This lovely girl is potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. She knows how to use a dog door and enjoys a good mix of exploring, lounging in the sunshine, and following her people around to see what they’re up to. Every day she gains more confidence and learns that love is safe and good. With her soft tail wags, sweet smile, and tender heart, Splenda is ready for a calm, loving forever home where patience and kindness will help her continue to bloom. She deserves cozy dog beds, gentle hands, and the warmth of true belonging — for the rest of her life. 🌸🐾 Interested in this furry companion? Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on December 6th. Instead, we will offer private appointments to approved applicants December 1-7.* Franco is a classic cattle dog - energetic, smart, and always ready for adventure. He loves to play with other dogs and does a great job taking cues when it’s time to tone things down. With people, Franco can be a little shy at first, but he’ll sneak in a quick nose boop before trotting off. This clever boy thrives with plenty of enrichment, brain games, chew toys, and regular exercise. He’s kennel trained, walks well on a leash, and would do best with an active family and a securely fenced yard where he can run and burn off energy. With patience and consistency, Franco will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Franco is an 8-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Franco is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Thank you for choosing adoption!
