Story
Mary arrived at our rescue partner as a stray with her puppy, Harold! Momma is now ready for adoption herself! New note from her foster: " Meet Mary! Mary is a lover and a hunter, fond of cuddling as well as playing tug-of-war and fetch. Over the past few months, she has worked on becoming accustomed to other dogs and, while she is picky about her dog friends, she has made a couple and has made good progress at tolerating nearby pups. She is highly intelligent, loyal, and trusting towards her caretaker. She is fully crate and bathroom trained and will let the caretaker know when it is time to go. She enjoys both roaming the house and backyard without reacting to dogs beyond the windows or fence. In the past few months, she has encountered cats, children, and cleaning equipment with great interest! While she finds desires to play with cats, they simply seem to run. She is very accepting and calm around even toddlers, whom she greatly enjoys receiving pats from. She even finds little interest in cleaning equipment from lawn mowers to vacuums to brooms. Mary is eager to train, learn new tricks, and explore new places while on walks. She is excitedly awaiting the day she can embark on her next adventure with a new owner! Older note from her foster: "Mary has been doing great! She loves to go on walks and stays right by your side. She's a big snuggle bug and has to be right next to you wherever you are. She is a little weary of men but warms up pretty quick. She's so perfect! Meet Scooby and Sully! These adorable babies are ready to find their forever homes! From Scooby's Foster: " Scooby aka Scoobs is such a sweet boy! Loves belly scratches and running around outside with his foster brother. He is crate trained and potty trained! Loves to lay on his blanket and will go lay in his crate when told. Story
Meet Hashbrown and Espresso! Hashbrown is the cattle dog and Espresso is the little terrier who likes to use Hashbrown as a bed! This adorable bonded pair came into our rescue partner separately as strays on the same day, but with how quickly they bonded in their foster home it's totally possible they were buddies who just got separated prior to being brought in! We would love for these two sweet babies to be adopted together. Hashbrown is easy going, loves pools and splash pads, and gets along with everyone she meets! She has done well with large and small dogs and LOVES getting attention. She has done great with her potty training and even learned the doggy door! Please note that sweet Hashbrown is currently experiencing a medical condition that prevents her jaw from opening more than a couple of centimeters. She can take small treats and eats a lot of wet food at the moment. She is going to be evaluated by a specialist and receive medical care prior to being adopted. Meet Blue! This sweet and happy boy has had a rough go of life so far, but we're determined to make his future 100% better than his past! Blue previously received care from our rescue partner and was surrendered in May due to no fault of his own (his family was moving). We are thankful they surrendered him though, because he was very thin and weighed 27 pounds less than the last time he came into our rescue partner! His foster has made sure to give him ALL the love and foods, so he is a chunky and happy boy again! Blue is very food motivated and is doing great with his potty training and crate training! He has done well with kids, big dogs, and small dogs with our rescue partner. Meet the Heeler litter! These adorable, chunky babies are ready to find their forever homes! From Neptune's Foster: " Neptune is the sweetest girl ever! She absolutely loves to sleep and cuddle with you. She doesn't like loud noises or being left alone. We are still working on potty training and haven't gotten much time for crate training. She's met some other humans and takes a little to get used to them. She hasn't met any other cats yet but she used to love playing with our other foster when we had him and does great with other dogs! Her favorite spot to lay is on the couch and loves to soak up the sun from the window (perfect for her naps!). She is learning basic commands and knows she gets a treat whenever she goes potty outside. Overall she is a quick learner and has such a funny personality. Story
I am a male, black & white spotted mix, neutered, and up to date on all my vaccines. I weigh 65 lbs. and am looking for my forever home! I am a sweet boy who loves my “PERSON” and will happily follow them from room to room, lay on their feet when still or sit next to them on the couch, I love car rides, playing tug-o-war, and chasing my Kong stick outside (more keep away than fetch). I experience a bit of separation anxiety the first few days in a new environment and really just want to be where people are. I love to give kisses to everyone I meet! We have been working on my leash manners but a home with a yard is preferred. I know all the basic commands (sit, stay, place, heel, down) but can be stubborn so someone who is willing to continue my training and be consistent is ideal. I have exhibited some resource guarding with small children and would do better in a home with older, respectful children. I have done well meeting my foster family’s cat but all meetings have been supervised and short. I enjoy being around and playing with other dogs when properly introduced. A home without small children is a must and maybe even feline free would be beneficial. My new owner/s will be familiar with resource guarding issues and will be confident and comfortable in handling me. In return I will be a loving, loyal, faithful companion who will slobber his new family with lots of kisses!!! I am potty trained.

Dahlia (aka Mila) is loyal, sweet and eager to please her humans. She walks really well on a lead in a heel position, looking for direction. Mila is dog and kid friendly. We have not yet tested her with cats, but we believe she would be good with a dog savvy cat. She’s approximately 1yr old and fully grown at 40 lb. We believe she’s a Cattle Dog or German Shorthair Pointer mix. In either case, she’s a working dog and pretty active, so will require physical and mental enrichment. She came to Colorado from Oklahoma and is quickly gaining confidence. She’s very smart and already learned a number of commands, including sit, down, paw, and come. She is mostly housebroken but was recently spayed and has had a couple of pee accidents. When she is stressed or anxious, she’s occasionally marked. We are working with her on this and with patience and consistency, should grow out of it soon. There is plenty of life now to flourish and feel love for this sweet girl, who was apparently kept outside her entire life and then left in a backyard when her owner moved. If you have a comfy couch and an empty lap to share, Mila would love to meet you! She is fully vetted and healthy and ready to go home ASAP!

Very sad to see our little girl go. She is 11 months old mostly super sweet. However she has shown some aggressive resource guarding towards kids. She is very active and very playful. Would be a great dog for a single person or an active couple. She is very well adapted to the dog parks has been going at least two to three times a week since she is about 2 months old.
