She arrived as an unclaimed stray, and it’s clear she didn’t have much affection in her past — but she’s now learning what it truly means to be cared for and cherished in her foster home. She even sleeps quietly through the night and greets with gentle kisses now. Splenda is a true dog’s dog who feels most confident and happy around other pups, big or small. She’s incredibly gentle, submissive, and sweet, and would thrive in a home with another friendly dog (or two!) to show her the ropes and share her days. She absolutely loves the company of other dogs and blossoms with canine companionship. This lovely girl is potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps quietly through the night. *We will not be hosting an adoption event on December 6th. Instead, we will offer private appointments to approved applicants December 1-7.* Franco is a classic cattle dog - energetic, smart, and always ready for adventure. He loves to play with other dogs and does a great job taking cues when it’s time to tone things down. With people, Franco can be a little shy at first, but he’ll sneak in a quick nose boop before trotting off. This clever boy thrives with plenty of enrichment, brain games, chew toys, and regular exercise. He’s kennel trained, walks well on a leash, and would do best with an active family and a securely fenced yard where he can run and burn off energy. With patience and consistency, Franco will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Franco is an 8-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Franco is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). With patience and consistency, Franco will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Franco is an 8-month-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $400 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and neuter. Franco is also tested with other dogs, children, and potty and kennel trained. He is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if he might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). I have tried so hard not to have to rehome her. My husband is extremely allergic to her, he’s tried the allergy shots, I have an automatic vacuum and I get her deshedded. This is the last thing I want to do but I can’t hardly pet her and she has to stay downstairs with my mom. She deserves more and I want to find her a lovely home so all parties are happy.
