Story
Magnolia is such a love! She wants to be in whatever room the family is in and is the best company. She loves meeting and playing with other dogs and she is so sweet and gentle with kids. She is very interested in cats, and has not shown any aggression, just excited curiosity. On walks, she is content to move at a slower pace and take in all the new sights and smells. She is doing well with potty training, and with a little more training she’ll have it down in no time. She is eager to please and loves getting head pats and praise, so I think she’ll be quick to learn any command.  ##2795664##

Story
When Harvey first got home, he was the first to jump out of the cage and immediately into my arms. He is intelligent, and despite being so young has already begun to bark at the door when he needs to be let out, go into his crate when he is tired and loves meeting new people when they come to visit. )He’s everyone’s favorite). Him and his brothers get along so well and he loves to try learning new activities like crawling up the stairs.  ##2795706##

Story
Heath is the ultimate snuggler. He’s always looking for the angle to crawl into your lap and is a big napper. She’s definitely the most rambunctious playmate of the group, always starting the games with his brothers which really contrasts the amount of sleep he likes to get. He’s always looking for something soft to lay his head on, jump into your lap and get some kisses from humans. He’s such a sweet boy to people and he’s a fun, energetic playmate to other dogs ##2795704##

Story
It took Hayden an hour or two to fully become comfortable in his foster home, but once he was, it was all easy from there. Hayden is the chillest out of all of his brothers, always following the lead and being extremely easy. He’s extremely sweet, loves to climb into people’s laps and cuddle up next to his dog Brothers. Always the first to lead his brothers into the crate or puppy pen after using the bathroom or during bedtime. He’s going to be very easy to train due to his laid-back nature. ##2795705##

Story
Teddy Needs a Foster, Adopter, or Rescue Partner by Late August!   Teddy has been waiting so patiently for his fresh start, and now time is running short.   His wonderful foster family will be traveling from late August through November, so Teddy needs a new foster, a forever home, or a rescue partner willing to welcome him into their program within the next few weeks.   At nearly 18 months old, Teddy is an active, affectionate boy who's ready for his next adventure. With his adorable radar ears and goofy body that's all legs, he's impossible not to smile at! This handsome guy loves to stretch those long legs chasing balls, catching Frisbees, and exploring, so he'd love a home with room to run and play.   Housebroken Crate trained Neutered Great with other dogs Rides well in the car Knows "sit" and "stay" Takes treats gently Loves being close to his people   Teddy is friendly with visitors, has done well with a pre-teen in his foster home, and will proudly let you know when the delivery driver has arrived. Once the excitement is over, he's happiest right by your side.   After losing his owner unexpectedly, Teddy has shown just how resilient and loving he is. Now all he needs is someone willing to give him the second chance he deserves.   Can you foster? Ready to adopt? Are you a rescue that can help?   Please reach out! If you can't take Teddy in yourself, sharing his story could be what helps him find the perfect place before his foster family's departure.   Questions or interested in helping? Email us at adoptioncenter@denkaisanctuary.org   Apply to foster or adopt here: https://denkaisanctuary.org/adopt   Please help us spread the word so Teddy can find the loving home he deserves. ##2806552##

She was found starving and alone, trying to survive without her mother or anyone to protect her. At just seven weeks old, she should have been learning, playing, and feeling safe—not searching for food or shelter. Thankfully, rescuers stepped in before it was too late, giving Willow the chance to experience the love and care every puppy deserves. Today, Willow is a healthy, happy puppy whose joyful personality shines brighter every day. She has an affectionate heart and a playful spirit that's impossible not to love. She enjoys discovering new things, playing with toys, and bouncing around with puppy enthusiasm before happily settling down for cuddles. Willow loves people and enjoys being close to her family. She'll gladly follow you from room to room, eager to see what you're doing and hoping to be included in every adventure. Her sweet, trusting nature makes her an easy puppy to fall in love with. As an Australian Kelpie Mix, Willow is expected to grow into an intelligent, loyal, and energetic companion. Kelpies are highly trainable, eager to please, and thrive when given both mental and physical enrichment. With early socialization and positive reinforcement, Willow has everything she needs to become an incredible family dog. Willow would thrive in a home that offers: Plenty of love and companionship Positive reinforcement training Daily puppy playtime and exercise Interactive toys and mental enrichment Continued socialization A consistent daily routine A safe indoor home where she's treated as part of the family A lifetime of love, patience, and commitment Willow has already survived more than any puppy should have to face. Now she's ready to spend the rest of her life knowing what it feels like to be safe, loved, and truly home. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Like all puppies, Willow is learning something new every day. Her new family should expect normal puppy behaviors such as chewing, teething, house-training, and plenty of curiosity. Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule: 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to learn your household routine 3 Months to fully settle into family life Willow will benefit from: Positive reinforcement training House-training and consistent routines Puppy-safe exercise and supervised play Continued socialization Enrichment activities and interactive toys Plenty of patience, love, and encouragement With guidance and consistency, Willow will grow into a confident, affectionate, and devoted companion. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Bringing home a puppy is a lifelong commitment that includes training, veterinary care, exercise, and companionship. Willow will need: Completion of her puppy vaccination schedule Spaying when age-appropriate Monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention A nutritious diet for healthy growth Daily exercise appropriate for her age Continued obedience training and socialization A safe, loving indoor home We recommend scheduling a wellness examination with your veterinarian shortly after adoption to establish care and ensure Willow continues to thrive.
