Story
This sweetheart is Mia! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl with ID on 8/6, along with her bestie, Nova. This is not their first rodeo; they've been in the shelter several times, but their family did not come for them this time. Both girls are a bit confused as to why their family deserted them, but at least they have each other, and that is comforting. Mia & Nova would love to be adopted together, and anyhow, two dogs is always better than one! Both girls are playful, affectionate, and friendly. They LOVE treats and will work for them! Mia is approximately 4 years old, and she weighs 49 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, and she has been spayed and microchipped. Unfortunately, Mia did test positive for heartworms, but the GOOD NEWS: She has completed her heartworm treatment at the shelter and soon will be the picture of health. Dogs who are treated for heartworms usually go on to live a long and healthy life. Mia (and her bestie) are waiting in run 874; her ID # is 660890. Story
This cutie is Fritz! He ended up at the shelter on 8/29 after he was abandoned by his people. Poor Fritz is very, very scared in the shelter. We can't blame him; it's a loud and overwhelming environment. The volunteers describe Fritz as friendly, and wanting so badly to be able to trust people. He does love treats and will sit nicely for them. If you have a soft spot for the shy kids who don't show well in the shelter, please come meet Fritz! Fritz is approximately 1 year old, and he weighs 27 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Fritz is waiting in run 77; his ID # is 661506. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. Story
Ridge appears to be around 2 years old, and weighs 29lbs.  We suspect he is an Australian Kelpie.mix,  as he  shows nautral instincts of herding.  In foster care we learned he is house trained, and very smart.   Best suited with  older kids due to his energy.  He enjoys interacting with all humans but NO CATS  for him, because he will chase and scare them!  He was fine with a female dog, but hasn't been formally tested with males.  He needs a few walks a day or a fenced yard to run around in! Please consider adopting Ridge, online at buttsmutts.com  ##1448642##

Story
Flash is 6 months old, unneutered male red tri Aussie. He is super smart and would do very well in any sport. He is up to date on vaccines and is microchipped. He is a fun loving goofy puppy that needs lots and lots of exercise. Like most male Aussies he can be very stubborn so he needs someone who knows how to handle and to train Aussies.
