2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##

I had a coworker who found Ollie and went and took him to see if he was chipped and he wasn't. He was not able to keep him so I decided to take Ollie in! I’ve had him for a little bit now but now that I am expecting a child towards the end of July it is harder to try and take care of him. He definitely likes to run and needs enough area to do so, he hasnt been around other animals so I dont know how he does. Anytime Ive had anyone over he is super good with people, just a hyper dog that loves to be loved on. I believe he is around 4 years old and I know that he is neutered. I wish he could stay with me but I think a home that fits him more would make him a lot happier.

This pretty girl is Suki! She arrived at the shelter as a lost dog with ID on 5/9, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. The volunteers describe Suki as very sweet and fun-loving. She is good in her kennel, and she responds to several commands including sit, shake, and down. She gets very excited about treats, but needs some work learning to take them gently. It is great she is food motivated, she'll learn new things quickly - and she's eager to please, she just needs someone patient and kind to teach her. Suki is approximately 2 years old, and weighs 27 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped and spayed, and did test negative for heartworms. Suki is waiting patiently in kennel 313; her ID # is 18869 Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained.
