Churro is a very cute, petite girl who is about 9 months old and around 25 lbs, and she likely won’t grow much more. She has a sweet, gentle nature and is the type of dog who happily rolls right over for belly rubs. Churro walks well on leash and does great with all people, kids and other dogs but is not a fan of cats. She’s affectionate without being overwhelming and would make a wonderful companion for just about any home. She is crate trained and house trained. She is with our rescue partner in Louisiana and can head up to NJ if we find a foster or adopter for her. Sweet Leah doesn’t understand why she was left behind. At just 2 years old and 43 pounds, this gentle girl was surrendered to the shelter when her owner decided they didn’t have time for her anymore. Now she’s hoping for someone who will make time — for her wagging tail, her toy-fetching zoomies, and her big, loving heart. Leah’s dog- and kid-friendly, keeps her space spotless, and has just the right amount of playful energy. Leah has a love for life — and she’s ready to finally belong to someone who won’t give up on her. Leah is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. she is negative for heartworm and her adoption fee is $450.
