Sailor is a 1 year and 4 months old 55 lbs rescue came into our rescue when we were told about four dogs that were living with an unhoused man who allowed the dogs to roam freely in the streets while dodging traffic. Thankfully, we were able to get him to surrender all of the dogs to us. We got them straight to our vet where they were all fully vetted. He is now looking for his forever home. He wants to please and craves human companionship. He is just freaking awesome, can be goofy and playful, it’s just so rewarding to see a pup that had absolutely nothing and no future to see him play with toys and bones for the first time is priceless.What a fantastic dog and so loyal. Someone that is not gone long hours during the day, and a home with a safe and secure yard for him to play in. Active owners that will walk or run daily is exactly what he needs! He is such a wonderful dog and is good with everyone he meets! He deserves the best forever home out there and we won't stop till we find it! 2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##
