She’s an amazing, loving, smart dog but apartment living has not been good for her. She needs a house with a fenced yard, daily exercise, and a calm environment. Fetch is her favorite thing — she needs about 30 minutes daily plus walks/hikes and structure.She’s very food motivated, crate trained, potty trained, and affectionate with people she trusts. She sleeps in bed and is a great companion. She can be anxious with loud environments, strangers, and leash-reactive toward dogs/people. Once introduced calmly with treats, she usually warms up within 30–60 minutes.She does best in a quieter home without constant visitors. Melatonin and trazodone help during stressful events. Looking for someone patient and experienced who understands high-energy working breeds and can give her the space and routine she needs to thrive.

Copper is a very sweet, playful guy! He is around 4 years old, and at his last vet visit weighed in at 60 pounds. We think Copper probably has some Australian Shepherd, along with several other breeds including possibly Belgian Shepherd, Greyhound or Carolina dog. Copper is a beautiful and happy boy. He’s lucky to be alive! Copper came to us from the shelter at a time when he was minutes from losing his life because he had an upper respiratory infection. We are so glad he is with us now, and he is in a training program getting ready for his forever home! Copper does well in a crate, he also does well on a leash. Copper would love to be a hiking or running buddy! His foster mom said he is doing well at learning house training. Copper loves to play with his doggy friends especially tug-of-war with the big rope toys and will do wonderful at a daycare or dog park with other active and playful dogs! Truffle is the kind of dog who won't be the loudest personality in the room, but she just might be the one who steals your heart the fastest.
