Story
Meet Hartman Marina! A striking Shepard/Terrier mix he is a fine looking fellow. Hartman is white with beautiful brindle marking around each eye and a little brindle patch on his back. He is a real looker. This little pup had a rough start into the world. He was abandoned and left for dead along with his brother Fred under a bridge in Baytown, TX. He luck would soon turn around after he was spotted by a boating couple on their way back to the Marina. They say all they saw in the darkness of night were a pair of glowing eyes on the shore and as they approached a second pair of eyes peeked out from behind a rock and just like that they were saved. Hardman is a sweet kind medium level energy pup who does well with adults and teenagers. He is also friendly with cats. He enjoys playing in the yard and playing tug of war. He also likes to look at himself in the floor mirror and then try finding the dog on the other side. He loves to cuddle and give kisses. He would want nothing more than to snuggle on the couch with you during movie night. He is still a puppy so he will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization, and all the things that come with raising a puppy. He is currently working on potty training, crate training, and learning to sit. He also enjoys nibbling on toes. Don’t miss out on this amazing pup! Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no choice but to euthanize animals for space. We prepare them for adoption by properly vetting and providing individualized care through our incredible behavior program that consists of socialization and leash training for all animals that enter our adoption program prior to matching them with loving families who will treasure them for the rest of their lives. They are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts once adopted, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! Three Little Pitties Rescue will soon be celebrating our 5 year anniversary! Over the course of this time, we have been very fortunate for so much growth, allowing us to further connect with the community and save many lives. Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 10,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! Story
Introducing this cute little energetic pup Sawyer Shep! Sawyer is super floofy with a soft black and brown coat. He is currently 12 weeks old and we believe he is a mini Aussie mix but with rescue it is always a bit of a mystery! This boy weighs about 15 lbs and is so playful and sweet. Sawyer is such an happy boy! He can’t wait to run and play and get all his zoomies out then lay in your lap and be cuddled. He is still learning what is means to be a puppy! We believe Sawyer will be around 30-40 lbs. We don’t know what size or breed his parents were so this is just a guess! This cutie would do well in a home with other dogs and kids. He would also benefit from a fenced in back yard where he can run and play to his hearts context. Sawyer is young and his personality is changing and evolving all the time! He will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization and all of the hard stuff that comes with owning a young puppy. However, he will make up for it with a bunch of kisses and puppy snuggles! His new family will have to work with him on potty training, crate training, and basic commands. As he gets older, we anticipate he will likely require daily physical and mental exercise. He will be perfect to take on walks around the neighborhood, family trips and occasional hikes! Story
Moe is 7 and a half, adopted from the oregon humane society in 2017, he is an Australian Shepherd / Pitty mix, up to date on shots. He is a very sweet and loyal boy, loves going for walks, camping, chasing squirrels and taking naps. Likely looking for an active home that can give him lots of attention and play time. Moe is energetic, and free spirited, but loves to follow you around and be your buddy. Moe has been around children, though infrequently, and has behaved appropriately. Some things to know: Moe is very enthusiastic about new guests, he barks when overstimulated. He does a good job of knowing what's his, but may get into things left open. May struggle with recall, but seems to be very trainable, his walks have all been on a leash in recent years as he gets distracted easily. Moe was also abandoned by his last owner, and appreciates consistency and loyalty. Moe has many toys, treats, and bedding that he is familiar with and can bring along with him.

Story
I adopted Josie from the Humane Society in Feb 2023. They found her as a stray and estimate she was born in August of 2021. She's very sweet and affectionate girl with lots of energy. She is very alert & smart and easy to train. She is rather calm for an Aussie and loves to play fetch...a lot. Josie is sleeps well in her crate and is good for several hours in her crate when I run errands. She prefers human company but has done well at doggy day care as well. It saddens me to need to rehome her but she has started to resource guard me when family & friends bring their dogs to visit our house. Josie loves to run/play and a home with activity and multiple family members would be happy place for her.

Story
Leroy is a very sweet very special boy, he is loyal and very protective of his loved ones, he isn’t special needs in terms of lots of meds or anything like that. He just needs space to run and lots of attention. He has some weird quirks but I am sure with good exercise those will subside. He is all up to date with his shots and is neutered. He has separation anxiety to the max but it’s only because he loves you. He is great at cuddling and has so much love and affection.

Story
In Fort Rock, Oregon Hi, I'm Penelope! I'm a year and a half old energetic girl looking for a home where I can run and play fetch, go on frequents hikes, roll in the grass and curl up on your bed or sofa. I'm 53 lbs, strong and an extremely fast runner - but gentle taking treats from your hand! I'm spayed, up to date on all vaccinations. I love hugs and belly rubs! I love playing with other dogs, wrestling, and a good game of chase. I have a little initial fear of new people and other dogs but warm up quickly. I've learned a lot of new commands and manners at my foster home, but you'll be able to teach me even more because I'm a good listener! I'm a hugger and a kisser, so hopefully you are too. If you have another energetic canine for me to play with that would be the best, I love having a buddy my size! If Penelope sounds like a great fit for you, please fill out the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/old-adoption-application All adoption fees are used for future rescue efforts.
