Smokie is as handsome as he is well mannered. He originally came from a breeder and lived with a family (including 4 kiddos) for almost 2 years. When the family moved out of state, he was kept in a friend’s shed until the shelter would take him in.We’ve learned many things about this very good boy since coming under our care. Besides being house trained and knowing basic commands, he’s also good in the car, leash trained, and is up for any adventure. We’ve had a few field trips with Smokie to the Mueller area. He’s calm and confident and always says thank you for field trips by giving us cuddles.If you’re looking for a confident and handsome adventure buddy, he’s your boy! Meet Bella! She is a very sweet 2 year old female Kelpie/GSD mix, and is UTD on shots, spayed, and on monthly heartworm/flea preventative. Bella has undergone successful heartworm treatment and is now heartworm negative! Bella doesn’t do great with small dogs (under 20lbs) but she’s perfect with all other dogs, male and female. Bella is very kid friendly. She is more of a submissive, low key dog, with bursts of energy but 90% of the time wanting to be by your feet laying down sleeping. She does need some work on leash manners and not jumping on guests when they enter the house. Bella does not bark at all. She does whine a bit in her crate at first but quickly stops. She is completely housebroken and crate trained. She’s the sweetest dog who just wants love all day every day and to spend every waking moment by the people she loves. Big and small. I began fostering Bruce for a friend who was having some medical issues and had just began fostering him herself. He’s partially trained but needs some more work and someone that can dedicate more time to him. He is crate trained and house trained and has had no inside plumbing issues since I first took him in mid-October. I take him to the dog park regularly and he gets along well/plays well with the other dogs.

Meet Paco – Your Loyal Shadow and Playful Pup Paco is a handsome brown and white hound mix with a heart as big as his floppy ears. This affectionate boy is thriving in his foster home and is now ready to find a forever family of his very own — ideally one with a fenced yard, a playful dog friend, and humans who will include him in their daily life. He really loves children and will happily play with them for hours. He bonds deeply and loves nothing more than being close to his people. Paco is house-trained, crate trained, great on a leash, and eager to please. He loves to romp and wrestle with other dogs and is surprisingly respectful around chickens — a true southern gentleman. He has been around cats and does well with them. After a fun day, Paco prefers to sleep snuggled up with his foster mom, but he also does great overnight in a crate when needed. Being outdoors is Paco’s happy place. He enjoys exploring, sunbathing, and relaxing in the grass, and he’s a fan of splashing in the water to cool off on warm days. Car rides are becoming more comfortable for him, and with continued positive experiences, he’ll soon be a confident travel buddy. He will need antinausea medication to travel, however. Paco is the perfect match for someone seeking a loyal, cuddly, dog-friendly companion with a sweet spirit and a playful heart.
