Amy Lee is as sweet as she is adorable - she has soft fur, one ear that's always up and one that's always down, and she doesn't even shed! She loves belly rubs and butt scratches and gives very gentle kisses. She also gives her foster mom hugs every time she gets home from work - she walks right up and lays her head on her chest, waiting for the embrace. Amy can be shy with strangers, but she warms up quickly, and once she's comfortable, her eyes are filled with love and affection whenever she looks at her people. Amy's preferred mode of play is to chase or be chased. Her favorite thing is to get a ball and then wait for someone to try to get it from her. Then she runs around the yard and stops, waits for you to try to get it, then she's off again: repeat until you're tired. When you're all chased out, Amy's happy to go practice on the squirrels. As much as she loves her walks and playtime, Amy overall has a pretty moderate energy level and is content to spend a lot of time just snoozing around the house. Amy is also an excellent houseguest - she's house-trained, and while she enjoys being in her crate, she behaves perfectly when left home alone outside of one, and she sleeps quietly through the night. She walks well on leash and is even up for a jog if you are. She's super smart too and already knows sit, down, roll over, stay and come. Feisty, well-trained, playful and and so very sweet, Amy Lee is a dog who's impossible not to fall in love with. She'd make a wonderful addition to any number of loving homes, but we think she'd prefer one with a yard full of squirrels. If that sounds like yours, come meet this great pup!

This little girl was found on the side of a country road near Georgetown, TX at about 10 weeks old (vet estimate). Her litter must have been dumped. We found her eating off a deer carcass and covered in fleas. We brought her home with us, cleaned her up, fed her, and planned to keep her. Unfortunately, we have 2 older dogs, 3 young children, very busy schedules, and just not enough time to get her the attention she deserves. She is now 6 months old and is kennel trained and house trained with the bell method. She does well with our kids, but is a puppy still and will jump and nip at heels. She is very energetic - loves running around, chasing her tail, and playing fetch. She had her first round of shots at 12 weeks, but has not yet been spayed as the vet recommended we wait until after her first heat. She is a very smart dog and a wonderful little companion!

He was found in a dumpster with his siblings and was adopted by us shortly after from the shelter. Very hyper active, and has extreme chewing and what I consider pica. Eats any toy we give him, any furniture he’s around including walls and window edges. I want him to go to someone who knows how to handle extreme behavior like this, because we are at our wits end as renters. Other than his behavioral issues he’s a sweet and loving dog who is very gentle with our cat. Has never shown aggression to people or other animals he has met. Can be a bit skiddish at first but always comes around to wanting to make a new friend.

I couldn’t stand the thought of one of them not having a chance, so I brought Coco home to give her a safe, loving life.When I adopted her, my schedule allowed me to spend lots of time with her. Unfortunately, over time, life changed and I had to take on more than one job. My work schedule has become so busy that I can no longer give Coco the time, attention, exercise, and play she deserves.This has been an incredibly difficult decision because Coco deserves a family that can truly be there for her every day. She is a sweet girl who has so much love to give, and I know she will thrive in a home where she has plenty of time for walks, playtime, and affection.
