Story
Mousey is an adorable dog and will make a perfect family pet! She loves all other dogs and romps and plays all day at the ranch with many other breeds...kind of like a dog park in reverse. She came from a very high-kill shelter in California and had been dumped as a puppy in the hard streets of a high-crime area. She had one friend in the world, Sopita, who was also saved by Dogtown. When she first got to the ranch, she could not be separated from her friend, but she quickly found a hundred other buddies and learned that life can be a good thing after all. Mousey loves to play, chase a ball and also fun to cuddle. Please get in touch and meet our precious Mousey who wants a family to call her own.May 22, 2024, 5:48 am

Story
Inquisitive and Ready for Adventure Huey is an Australian Cattle Dog mix with a playful, affectionate, and endlessly curious personality. Adventurous and brave, he loves exploring the world around him—whether it’s a walk through the neighborhood, a game of fetch in the yard, or showing off his signature zoomies. Huey is always eager to investigate new sights and smells, making every day with him an exciting little adventure. Huey enjoys going to our social playgroups with other dogs, showing a friendly and playful side while also listening carefully to guidance and corrections. He’s house-trained and crate-trained, so he’s comfortable both at play and during quiet, relaxed moments at home. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, Huey quickly warms up and reveals his affectionate, cuddly side, showing just how much he loves attention and companionship. His inquisitive nature makes him a smart pup who thrives with gentle encouragement, mental stimulation, and activities that challenge his agile mind. Huey is looking for a home where he can continue to explore, play, and grow into the loyal adventure buddy he’s meant to be. He’s the perfect match for someone ready to embrace an active, fun-loving dog who is as spirited as he is loving.

This high-energy boy enjoys staying active and thrives when he has outlets for both play and relaxation. He’s just as happy entertaining himself with a squeaky toy or a good chew as he is soaking up attention from his people. Wizard is sweet by nature and often seeks out affection, making him a wonderful balance of playful and loving. He is housetrained and already has a solid foundation to build on, especially with his eagerness to connect and learn. Story
LaCroix may not see or hear the world the way we do, but he feels it in full. This sweet, resilient boy is both blind and mostly deaf, and he’s looking for a special person or family to help him navigate life with love, patience, and a little creativity. Despite his unique needs, LaCroix has the spirit of an explorer and the heart of a cuddlebug. Once he understands his surroundings, he settles into a routine beautifully and bonds deeply with the people who guide him with consistency and kindness. He responds well to gentle touch cues, learns spaces with a little help, and thrives in calm, structured environments. He'll do best in a home that’s safe, predictable, and filled with empathy—a place where he can feel secure and celebrated just as he is. LaCroix is a truly inspiring pup who reminds us that love doesn’t need to come with instructions—it just needs patience, understanding, and time. If you’re ready to be his guide through this world, he’ll reward you with trust, loyalty, and a connection that’s deeper than words. Ready to meet this extraordinary soul? LaCroix is waiting to show you that sometimes, the most beautiful things are the ones you feel with your heart.

Story
Sitter needed: 05/13/26 - 06/03/26 For sweet Heidi, nothing beats a game of fetch and a snuggle. This young gal loves to sprint around and chase tennis balls - all that's missing is you to cuddle up with! - Heidi is very inquisitive and likes to sniff and investigate everything she sees. - Her favorite treats are rawhide chip snacks, and all she asks is that you have plenty of those on hand! - Leash-walking is new for Heidi, and she's quickly picking up the skills. She knows heel, sit, come and stay, plus she is fully crate- and house-trained. This quiet, easy-going girl would love to move in with parents who can give her that petting and cuddling she loves and continue her training. Come offer her some snuggles and she'll follow you home!

Story
Archer is a bright, active dog who loves having something to do and someone to do it with. He’s house trained and did great during a recent sleepover, settling into his own room and relaxing independently with no destructive behavior. He’s learning how to balance his energy and continues to make great progress. He enjoys fast-paced walks and thrives when he can get out and move. Playtime is a highlight of his day—he loves toys, is great at fetch, and has a blast chasing water from a hose. His enthusiasm makes him a fun and engaging companion for someone who enjoys an interactive dog. Archer is very smart and eager to learn. He already knows “sit” and is picking up “back up,” “drop it,” and “wait.” He responds well to guidance and would do well with someone who enjoys training and helping a dog continue to build skills and confidence. If you’re looking for a fun, intelligent dog who’s ready to keep learning and be your activity partner, Archer could be a great match. Reach out to learn more about adopting or fostering him.
