Story
Mousey is an adorable dog and will make a perfect family pet! She loves all other dogs and romps and plays all day at the ranch with many other breeds...kind of like a dog park in reverse. She came from a very high-kill shelter in California and had been dumped as a puppy in the hard streets of a high-crime area. She had one friend in the world, Sopita, who was also saved by Dogtown. When she first got to the ranch, she could not be separated from her friend, but she quickly found a hundred other buddies and learned that life can be a good thing after all. Mousey loves to play, chase a ball and also fun to cuddle. Please get in touch and meet our precious Mousey who wants a family to call her own.May 22, 2024, 5:48 am

Super dog friendly and gets along with all the other dogs at Dogtown. Please give us a call today to arrange a meeting with our precious Little Lucy.May 22, 2024, 5:48 am

Meet Socks, the charming and playful pup who's ready to steal your heart with his silly antics and loving nature! This smart and outgoing boy is the perfect blend of energy and affection, making him an ideal companion for a variety of homes. Socks is a social butterfly who loves nothing more than meeting new people and exploring the world around him. His enthusiasm for life is infectious, and he'll have you smiling in no time with his adorable habit of wagging his head back and forth while playing with his favorite toys. And those eyes! Get ready for some intense, soulful gazes that'll make you wonder if there's a little human hiding behind those puppy dog eyes. This clever boy already knows "sit" and "down," and he's eager to learn more. He's mostly house-trained and has excellent indoor manners - no chewing on your favorite shoes or barking at mysterious noises here! Socks is a champion cuddler, always ready to curl up next to (or on top of) his humans for some quality snuggle time. The ideal home for Socks would be one with plenty of love and patience to help him continue his training journey. He'd love a family that enjoys outdoor adventures and has time for lots of play and cuddles. While he hasn't had much experience with cats or children, his friendly nature suggests he could adapt well with proper introductions. Are you ready to add a pair of Socks to your life? This lovable goofball is waiting to fill your days with wagging tails, silly antics, and endless love. Come meet Socks and see if he's the perfect fit for your family! Follow me @sillysockboy

Story
LaCroix may not see or hear the world the way we do, but he feels it in full. This sweet, resilient boy is both blind and mostly deaf, and he’s looking for a special person or family to help him navigate life with love, patience, and a little creativity. Despite his unique needs, LaCroix has the spirit of an explorer and the heart of a cuddlebug. Once he understands his surroundings, he settles into a routine beautifully and bonds deeply with the people who guide him with consistency and kindness. He responds well to gentle touch cues, learns spaces with a little help, and thrives in calm, structured environments. He'll do best in a home that’s safe, predictable, and filled with empathy—a place where he can feel secure and celebrated just as he is. LaCroix is a truly inspiring pup who reminds us that love doesn’t need to come with instructions—it just needs patience, understanding, and time. If you’re ready to be his guide through this world, he’ll reward you with trust, loyalty, and a connection that’s deeper than words. Ready to meet this extraordinary soul? LaCroix is waiting to show you that sometimes, the most beautiful things are the ones you feel with your heart.

Story
Eazy is a sweet and spirited little guy with a big heart and a brave story. He was rescued from a drainage ditch alongside his mama and sister, Breezy, and has been thriving in foster care ever since. At home, Eazy is confident and playful with his doggie siblings, showing off his energetic and curious nature. Out in the world, he’s a bit more cautious—taking his time to warm up to new pups, people, and places but only a few minutes. His foster is working with him using positive reinforcement training to help build his confidence, and he’s making great progress! Even more helpful is having a kind, confident sibling by his side. He wasn’t bothered by the cat he met recently and is young enough to acclimate to having them around. Eazy would do best in a home with a yard, older children (10+) who can understand he is still learning and can help him learn the do’s and don’ts. He’s a total cuddle bug—curling up in your lap for a nap after a good play session. He loves to run, climb, jump, and is smart as a whip. Maybe he is a future agility or disc dog star? Eazy is crate trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He will need potty training in his new home. If you're looking for a pup with a resilient spirit, a playful personality, and a whole lot of love to give, Eazy might just be your perfect match 🥰 Eazy's adoption fee of $375 includes vet care, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm treatment, rabies and tick vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and future neuter. Austin, TX area adoptions. Fenced backyard. Children over 10 years.

Story
My sweet girl Lola, oh all she wants is to be hugged, loved, and slobber you with kisses! I’ve had her since she was 8 wks old and it pains me to have to rehome her as again all she wants is love! My ex and I are getting a divorce and I am unable to take her where I am headed to next. I have 2 children, 5yr old and 2 yr old. Lola loved the kiddos when they were infants but once they started moving she really began to keep to herself or follow Roscoe (red heeler I am also wanting to rehome and preferably WITH Lola if you have the room and means to love them both us) around. My goal is to keep both Lola and Roscoe together but if she has to go on her own, she needs a home with no other pets, maybe older children who won’t get in her face (no biting issues or anything she just can be a grump if they get too close), and ultimately a family who has the patience to give her all the love she needs, take her on walks, play with her in the backyard, and providing all the kisses/hugs ya got!

Story
We will consider out-of-town adoptions on a case-by-case basis. SWEET DAISY HAS SKILLS!! This happy and confident heeler mix is such a pretty girl, pretty as a flower. She is playful and does well with most dogs but do best with dogs her size or larger. A privacy fenced yard would be great. An active family will be better. Daisy has waited a long time to be adopted to a private home. Somehow she never got a break. Poor lady. Although our ranchette is small and comfortable with other dogs roaming around, she yearns to be a part of your family and live in a private home. Recently, our rescue boarded her in Bobbi Colorado's Training camp for a whole month to teach her new skills that will make her more adoptable. We all know these kind of training does not come cheap. Now, she has impeccable manners and hoping that your family will see how far she has come and is so ready to be a part of your home. Daisy’s adoption fee of $250.00 includes her vet exam, basic vaccinations, fecal test, wormer, heart worm test, preventative, spay and microchip.

Story
Hi all, it pains me to even begin to write about Roscoe as he’s my everything but I am currently going through a divorce and I am unable to take him and his sister (Lola) with me to where I am moving next. I’ve had Roscoe since he was 8 weeks old. He just turned 9 years old on 11/5. He is the most kind, gentle, protective, easy going dog I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning! It was just myself and my ex for about 4 years and then we began to have kids. Roscoe has always been so gentle with kids, he acclimated to being the only dog in the house to having his sister (Lola) join us 2 years after we got him. He became the protector of her and our children! He is such a smart dog, he understands simple commands and even waits at his filled dog bowl until I state “eat”. I have to give him up but my main goal in rehoming him is to find someone to take him AND his sister (Lola) but most of all, to take the time to LOVE him and give him the space to love you back!

These pups are in Austin, Texas too!

Hilo is a fun loving energetic dog. He cuddles and is wonderful with children. He loves to play and hasn't met a stranger! Hilo's fun place is sitting at your feet or near you on the sofa. He is okay with taking a bath and likes smelling good for the ladies. Hilo will do great in a home where he can receive lots of attention and love. He does still have puppy energy and tendencies, so he would love a family who can work with him on some training and basic manners, where he can get lots of exercise! He acclimates to new environments daily quickly and is ready to find his furever home! Come meet him!
