Story
Cooper is a 4-year-old Kelpie mix with a gentle, thoughtful spirit who just needed time to feel safe. When he first arrived in his foster home, it was clear he hadn’t had much (if any) socialization with people or everyday life inside a home. Regular household sounds, movement, even the TV were overwhelming. His crate became his safe place, and he would choose to go there often just to feel secure. With patience and consistency, Cooper has slowly blossomed. Now he spends most of his day resting calmly on the couch or laying in the kitchen while meals are being made. He used to be nervous in the car, but now he gets excited to go for rides. He didn’t understand treats at first, but now he joyfully pops up on his hind legs to ask for one. Cooper does very well with dogs of all sizes and is respectful of cats. He is crate trained and doing well with potty training—he hasn’t had an accident in the house in about a week. Though he is around 4 years old, he still has a bit of youthful playfulness in him. He loves belly rubs, gentle massages, chewing on toys, and watching the world go by from the cat perch. On walks, he is calm, rarely pulls, and often looks back to “check in” with his person—he truly wants to do things right. Because unpredictable movement can still make him nervous, Cooper would do best in a calm home without young children. He needs someone who can offer patience, steadiness, and understanding. Cooper has already come so far. With a loving, reassuring person by his side, he will continue to open up and become the loyal, tender, devoted companion he is meant to be. Darla is a quiet, sensitive pup who needs a little time to warm up to new people—but once you’ve earned her trust, you’ll see just how deeply loving and loyal she can be. While humans can be a bit intimidating at first, Darla enjoys the company of other dogs of all sizes and really comes alive when they’re around furry friends! This sweet girl thrives in a calm, patient environment where she can feel safe and go at her own pace. Children can be loud and scary for her, but she would not mind older teens who can respect her boundaries. If you're the kind of person who understands that trust takes time, and you're willing to let Darla bloom on her own schedule, you’ll be rewarded with the kind of quiet companionship that’s truly special. Darla is ready for a fresh start with someone who sees beyond the shyness and into the heart of a truly special soul.

Story
Smokie is as handsome as he is well mannered. He originally came from a breeder and lived with a family (including 4 kiddos) for almost 2 years. When the family moved out of state, he was kept in a friend’s shed until the shelter would take him in.We’ve learned many things about this very good boy since coming under our care. Besides being house trained and knowing basic commands, he’s also good in the car, leash trained, and is up for any adventure. We’ve had a few field trips with Smokie to the Mueller area. He’s calm and confident and always says thank you for field trips by giving us cuddles. If you’re looking for a confident and handsome adventure buddy, he’s your boy! Story
Such a GOOD BOY!! Cooper is a 9-month-old Blue Heeler mix with a zest for life and an incredibly gentle heart. Cooper is smart, affectionate, and already potty and pad trained. Wouldn't it be just awesome to adopt a dog that already comes with training?? Cooper is currently enrolled in puppy training classes. He will be graduating soon. Tentatively, 2/13/2026. Please watch the You Tube video. He is super smart and have come a long way from the scared stray he was. His brother Bennett recently got adopted. It will be wonderful if we find an active family who is seeking a dog like Cooper and who are willing to continue on with his training, so as not to reinstate any bad habits. What his foster said: Cooper is dog-friendly and cat-appropriate, enjoying playtime with canine pals while respectfully ignoring feline ones. He especially loves splashing in the kiddie pool and watching squirrels on TV – simple joys that show off his playful, curious nature. He’s the kind of pup who brings a spark of happiness to everything he does, and he’s ready to share that spark with a family who’ll love him as much as he’ll love them. Austin, TX area adoptions only. Children over 5 years due to sharp puppy teeth. Fenced yard. Adoption fee of $350 for vet exam, vaccinations, heartworm preventatives, dewormer, fecal test, rabies/tick tests, neuter and microchip.

Story
Pyro is a very active, sweet dogs. He’s a purebreed Mini Aussie. It’s very hard for me to write to put him up for rehoming. When I brought him into our family, we see him as a family member. But my work schedule is busier and my son is about to leave to colleges in August, and he’s a very active dog and we don’t have much times to provide him at out best. Pyro’s love cuddle and lives to play catch. He loves to go to a park where there aren’t much people to run freely. He’s a little picky when it comes to food and he’s a very shy when it comes to stranger and other dogs. He’s just turn 1 in Feb,2026 and he’s up to date vaccination. He’s not neutered yet. I really want pyro to go to a family that willing to spend times and effort, and he’s not the type of dog that get along with other people right away. It takes time for him to trust and comfortable around other. Pyro would prefer a family who wants to spend times and had a big backyard where he could run or wants to walk him daily.
