Story
🐾 Meet North 🐾 Born: July 2025 North is a bright, energetic boy who is just stepping into his teenage phase and ready to take on the world with a real family by his side. He and his brother were heartbreakingly tossed aside like litter once they were no longer tiny and convenient, but it’s clear these pups once knew love — and they crave it deeply. North came into rescue without leash manners or structure, but don’t let that fool you — this boy is smart. With consistency and positive guidance, he’s already doing wonderfully on leash and thriving in doggy daycare. He’s the more energetic of the two brothers and would be a fantastic match for an active family or individual who enjoys walks, adventures, and mental enrichment. He rides well in the car, loves attention, and is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog. North would shine in a home ready to continue his training and help guide him through this fun (and sometimes goofy) teenage stage. In return, you’ll get a loyal, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to belong. Story
🐾 Meet South 🐾 Born: July 2025 South is a sweet, intelligent boy with a loving heart and a thoughtful soul. Like his brother, South was abandoned once he became “too big” and inconvenient — yet he still seeks affection and connection, proving just how loving he truly is. South is doing beautifully in doggy daycare and has made great progress learning leash skills and basic structure. While he has a playful, energetic puppy side, he’s a touch more laid-back than North and balances activity with cuddle time. He’s eager to learn, rides well, and is expected to be a medium-sized dog once grown. South would make a wonderful family companion or adventure buddy for someone who wants a smart, affectionate dog to grow alongside. He’s transitioning from puppyhood into adolescence and would love to experience that milestone in a home where he’s cherished, guided, and truly part of the family. Thank you for your interest in adopting Latte! We are estimating Latte at 15 weeks and 24 pounds. We do think that she will weigh over 60 pounds as an adult, which puts her in the large Dog range. Latte was found stray and no one looked for her . She lives in Foster Home in Calera with a working couple, two adult dogs, a couple of puppies, and cats. Latte is crate trained and seems to be house trained, she loves having a yard and will spend hours outside. Her foster family would be happy to speak with you and if Latte is a good match for you, we can set up a meet and greet. Adoption includes Puppy vaccines and boosters, rabies, spay, multiple dewormings, microchip and parasite prevention Out of area applicants should expect to come for your dog. We only transport to New England. $300 local area adoption fee. Serious adopters should fill out the application online. We prefer a vet reference, current or previous vet, to adopt a puppy. Story
Hi, this is Crowley! Crowley has had a hard life. He was dumped and taken to the shelter as a tiny baby and then when my ex brought him home it only got harder unfortunately. He came to us with horrible abandonment issues and then my ex was neglectful towards him and abusive to both of us, he now has really bad anxiety too bc of said ex. I love Crowley so much and wish I could keep him, but I’m too disabled to care for him alone and I have not been able to find him a home on my own. He needs someone with experience with abused dogs. He needs someone who has lots of energy and a big yard to run around in, but I can’t give him those things….. I’m wheelchair bound currently, ans well ans having a flare of multiple different illnesses, and dealing with a lot of really bad life events among my friends and family. Please someone show this sweet boy how amazing life can be. Please someone out there give him everything he deserves💜
