Meet Chanel 💖🐾 Chanel is a 2-year-old Australian Shepherd with a docked tail and a soft, gentle spirit. She may be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a sweet, loving, and devoted companion. Chanel is learning all about indoor life and doing a wonderful job adjusting. She’s currently working on leash training and gaining confidence every day. With patience and love, she will continue to thrive and truly shine in her forever home. Chanel is heartworm positive and currently undergoing treatment. Her care plan includes two 12-month ProHeart injections given 6 months apart (she has already received the first and will need her second in October), along with a 30-day course of doxycycline after each injection. Our team is happy to guide her adopter through the remainder of her treatment. She shares a close bond with Dior and Gucci and would love to be adopted with one (or both!) of them. Marmaduke is a big goofy lovebug! He adores children and other dogs. He is very curious about cats and chickens and is probably best in a home without those (or where he can be separated from them). He is about 1 year old and has been in rescue all his life. He had a medical issue as a puppy that required surgery and he is healed from that but needs 24/7 dog door access - he is doggie door trained. He will do best in a home with a secure fenced yard, another dog or dogs to play with that are not tiny since he's so big, and respectful animal-loving children that will love him as much as he loves them. If you are interested in Marmaduke, please fill out an application at our website: forrescue.net He is fostered in the Huntsville, AL area and we have determined because of his need for 24/7 dog door access he should be adopted locally in case an adopter cannot manage his condition and he must return to the rescue. We only want what is best for this amazingly sweet boy!
