Meet Ginger. She is the most loving, affectionate girl you will ever meet. She loves snuggling on the couch, running around outside, and chasing tennis balls.Unfortunately, our daughter (4 years old) makes Ginger very anxious. She gets very tense when our daughter gets near her, and she has growled at her (never snapped) a few times, out of fear. We want to find a home for Ginger where she can feel free to be her silly self, and feel comfortable and safe. She does well with our two older children, but she needs a home that doesn’t have young children. Our prayer is that Ginger will find a home with a family who has lots of time to give her all of the love she deserves. She enjoys going on long walks, and while she is perfectly content unattended in a fenced in yard, she would prefer to be snuggling with you! She is crate trained and potty trained. She gets along well with our female Shih Tzu.

When Doug arrived at Full Circle Rescue & Sanctuary, he was matted so badly that his coat was completely pelted to the skin. Underneath all that neglect was one very sweet little guy who just needed someone to believe in him. After just a week in foster care, Doug has completely started to blossom. He’s friendly, happy, loves his people, is wonderful with kids, house trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. Doug does well with other dogs, but he likes introductions on his terms. He can be a little reactive when first meeting a new dog and needs a minute to figure out that everything is okay. He’s worked with our trainer and has transitioned beautifully into a foster home with other dogs, so we know he can absolutely live happily with canine friends when given a proper introduction and a little patience. And then there’s the crate. Doug would like it officially documented that he is NOT a fan. After working with our trainer, however, he has begrudgingly compromised and decided crate life isn’t quite the personal attack he originally thought it was. No cats for this boy. Chasing them is just entirely too entertaining. Doug has already come such a long way in such a short time. He’s looking for a special family who understands that sometimes the dogs who have been through the most just need a little patience, consistency, and a whole lot of love. Meet your pocket-sized adventure buddy! With her bright blue eyes, adorable little “meerkat” stance, and endless curiosity, Mina turns heads everywhere she goes. She may be small, but she is packed with personality, energy, and all the classic traits of a herding breed. She is looking for someone who wants a partner for hikes, adventures, training, dog sports, or other activities that keep her physically and mentally stimulated—not just a couch companion. She loves to cuddle with her favorite people, adores toys, and has even shown signs that she may enjoy water activities. She is crate trained, settles quietly in her crate, and appears to be house trained, happily using a dog door to let herself outside. Mina’s foster is working with her on training, but she is still a smart, spirited girl who needs continued guidance. True to her herding instincts, she does try to herd children, so her perfect home will currently have older kids only. She can become protective of her favorite person around other dogs and may try to keep them at a distance. She also gets mouthy when she is overly excited, so older children are the best fit for her. She is happiest with confident dogs that will set appropriate boundaries and not let her boss them around. Once another dog shows her the rules, she is quick to relax and join the fun. Mina would do best with similarly sized or larger dog companions. Mina is very curious about cats and would need a home willing to provide guidance, supervision, and continued training around them.
