When Kruger was found, his body told the story of a dog who had been on his own for far too long. He was thin and hungry, his coat was patchy, he had been eaten up by fleas, and several of his teeth were broken from scavenging just to survive. Cooper is a 7 month old Australian Shepherd. He unfortunately is too much for our cats and I have to choose who was in the house first. He has never been aggressive but wants to play and of course control/herd. He also does this with small dogs. He has done well with my kids and has never been an ankle nipper. He is very much still a puppy and needs consistent training as well as someone willing to give him appropriate exercise and job. He is great with people and tends to love meeting everyone he can. He has never been aggressive but does bark at other dogs on walks sometimes. I haven't been able to tell if the other dog matters or if it's just his excitement level that causes this.
