Hi! This is Maple, she is a red tri Miniature Australian Shepherd. She is not crate trained but very trainable and food motivated. She loves cuddles, fetch and running around. She also has quite the personality, extremely loyal with a little bit of sass. 😊 She used to do well with other pups and lived in San Francisco for a few years of her life. However, as we moved into a house with a yard she got used to not seeing other dogs as much. I think she would do best in a home with no kiddos and potentially no other dogs but that can absolutely be up for discussion and seeing how things are! There was a change in my personal life that has caused me to make a near impossible decision to find her a better home. I live in a small place with no yard and I am out of the house 5-6 days a week for work. I have been able to make ends meet the past year however, she deserves to have the best life possible, and I am extremely saddened to say I can't give that to her.

Hi this is Willow, she is a red merel. She is crate trained and likes to hang around in it during the day. She is a skiddish pup, loud noises, cars, kids playing all cause her to become very anxious and run for a dark spot to curl up in. She is just a love bug, love to chew on toys, play fetch and cuddle up. She is trainable if she is in a quiet environment where she feels safe, and she absolutely loves having a big yard. I also think she would do best in a home with no kiddos (only because of the noise) no other pups (she asserts her dominance pretty quickly). I have had some drastic life changes happen over the past year and had to make the horrible decision to look for a new home for Willow. I live in a small place with no yard, this environment causes her extreme stress (even while being taken out on leash for the bathroom). I am looking to find a home for her that will give her the most comfortable, stress free life that I am heartbreakingly unable to provide her with.

His energy is just right — playful and happy without being too bouncy, making him a polite and easy companion. Once he gets out into the yard, Rattatta’s personality really starts to shine! He is playful, affectionate, and absolutely loves spending time with his human. He will happily sit right beside you and enjoy the day together. And if you stop loving on him? Well… he has a solution for that! He will gently nudge you with his nose to remind you that the petting session is NOT over yet! He loves treats and takes them nicely. And then there are the toys… Give this boy a plushy toy and he will happily pick it up and dance around with it! But pick up a ball? OH BOY. YOU JUST UNLOCKED RATTATTA’S FAVORITE GAME! Folks, we have ANOTHER PROFESSIONAL BALL CATCHER here at Stockton Animal Services! And Rattatta has his own unique playing style! He’s fast. He’s accurate. He occasionally trips over his own feet. But one thing is guaranteed — that ball is coming right back to you! And when I say right back to you, I mean LITERALLY RIGHT IN YOUR FACE. If you're sitting on the ground, Rattatta will proudly shove that ball right into your face. If you don't immediately throw it, he'll drop it right in front of you and stare at you like, “Well… come on. What are you waiting for?” Still not throwing it? PAW TAP. He has this routine DOWN! Step one: Ball directly in your face. Step two: Drop ball at your feet. Step three: Paw at you while looking ridiculously adorable and sad. Honestly, how are you supposed to resist that face?! Rattatta would love a semi-active home with a loving family where he can enjoy plenty of affection, playtime, and companionship. He is playful without being overwhelming, affectionate without being demanding, and just an all-around incredibly easy boy to love. Rattatta deserves the chance to keep playing ball, getting belly rubs, nudging his people for more love, and being the goofy, beautiful boy that he is.
