Draco is a young 38-pound sweetheart with a great mix of affection and playful energy. In the home, he’s calm, well-mannered, and easy to live with—he loves to be close to his people and is always up for a good cuddle. Outside, Draco enjoys his walks and a little playtime, including the occasional zoomies. He’s smart and responsive, walks nicely on leash, and continues to improve with guidance—especially when something exciting like a squirrel catches his eye. He’s social with other dogs, though a bit enthusiastic in his greetings, and would benefit from continued structure and consistency. Draco bonds quickly with his people and does best with calm, confident handling. He’s house-trained, does well when left alone, and is generally a quiet, easy companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and easygoing companion who also brings a little playful spark to your life, Draco might just be your perfect match. Our 4-year-old full-breed Australian Shepherd is looking for a loving new home. He is house-trained, very smart, and knows commands like sit, stay, roll over and loves to fetch. He’s great with kids and other dogs, loves people, and would do best in a home with another dog, as he can get lonely and anxious when left alone. He only takes anxiety medication for vet or grooming visits. He does need a little continued work with not grabbing food off the counter. He tends to bark when we have visitors but will settle down after a bit. Overall he is a wonderful, affectionate, loyal dog. This is a very hard decision for our family, but with our big busy household, we feel he would thrive in a quieter home where he can get the calm environment, companionship, and attention he deserves
