Story
Oakley is a great dog. He is super sweet and loves to cuddle. He loves to meet new people and new animals. He is not a fighter and well acknowledge when to walk away from a bad situation. He’s extremely intelligent and knows cool tricks such as roll over, go around, wait, place, down, come, move. He is mild tempered. Oakley loves to swim and loves food. He does gets nauseous in car rides so calming pills gummies or treats help. Oakley knows how to pay fetch. Oakley is house trained and can hold his needs up to eight hours. I never recommend making a Dog wait that long though. He is used to eating twice a day once in the morning and once when we come home from work. Oakley is used to being around kids. He grew up with my child. Oakley would love to be in a houseware. There is a fence for him to go outside and play and is given a lot of cuddles and hands-on time.

Story
Meet Coco! 🐾 Coco is a beautiful 2-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd weighing 30 pounds, and she’s ready to find the perfect forever home! This sweet girl is the complete package—playful, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. She loves spending time with her people and is happiest when she’s playing fetch, wrestling with another dog, or curled up next to you for cuddles. Coco is fully house trained, knows “sit,” and is eager to learn even more. Coco has an active personality and will thrive with a family that enjoys keeping her busy through walks, playtime, hiking, or other adventures. She absolutely loves other dogs and needs a playful canine companion in her new home. Because of Coco’s history, finding the right home is extremely important. She previously escaped and spent two months surviving on her own before she was safely trapped. For that reason, we are looking for experienced, safety-conscious adopters who understand the importance of escape prevention and will be diligent about keeping her secure. Coco’s ideal home includes: * A playful resident dog. * A securely fenced yard with a 6-foot fence. * An adult-only home (no children). * A family committed to managing her safely and preventing any chance of escape. If you’re looking for a smart, loving companion who will happily play fetch all afternoon and then snuggle on the couch, Coco may be the perfect addition to your family. Coco is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative. She is fostered in Clearwater and her adoption fee is $400. Story
Looking for a Best Friend? Meet Wisteria our Sweet Australian Shepherd Mix Puppy! At just 4 months old, this adorable Australian Shepherd mix is full of love and ready to find her forever family. She is a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys cuddles and being close to her people. She is housebroken and crate trained. She gets along well with other dogs and can live with dog-savvy cats. Because she is still building confidence in the big world around her, she will need continued positive exposure to new sights, sounds, people, and experiences. She would thrive in a home with another confident dog to help show her the ropes and continue building her confidence. Due to her shy nature, we think she would do best with older, respectful children who can give her the time and space she needs to adjust. If you're looking for a loving companion and are willing to help a young puppy blossom into her best self, she may be the perfect match for your family! This version highlights her sweet personality while presenting her confidence-building needs in a positive, adoption-friendly way. Wisteria is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed. She is located in the Tampa area and her adoption fee is $350

Story
Astro is a senior Aussie of 10 yrs, who was surrendered because he doesn't seem to like children.. guess it took them 10 years to figure that out sadly. So here he sits in the shelter.. He is neutered, will have basic vax, needs rabies and we will have to retest him for heartworms. He is a calm boy, does well in playgroups, friendly but quiet. Has a chip too. Does not like to be restrained at the vets and will most likely have to be muzzled to check teeth etc. Not a big issue, he can be handled until it comes down to teeth . I have some like that too. All in all should be a great senior boy!!! In need of foster /adopter.. Currently at Okeechobee shelter...
