This handsome boy is 3-year-old Moby and he's waiting for you at Satchel's! Moby can be a little shy of strangers but warms up quickly. He enjoys his walks with volunteers, followed by a nice cool down in the kiddie pool while he waits at the gate for his turn to return to his kennel. Moby is full of energy and is currently working with a trainer to learn basic understanding of what is acceptable behavior. Note from a volunteer: "Moby is a darling and very smart. He’s a “back scratch” grass loving boy who prefers water over land any day. He should’ve been a fish 🐠." Story
Molly (9 on Dec 12) has been with us since 8 weeks old. She's crate trained, house trained, great in the car, and good with strangers. She knows stay, sit down, lay down, head down, and wait, and won't eat until you say "OK." Her passion is fetch: total focus, endless energy. She needs to be the only pet. She has shown aggression toward our other dog several times and isn't suited for cats or other animals. She recently growled at our infant, so we're looking for a home without young children. Health: microchipped and vaccinated. She's had a few teeth removed and some worn down, likely from rough play with a herding ball, so softer toys are best. If it doesn't work out, please return her to us rather than a shelter or rehoming her elsewhere.

She has been on sheep and done very well. She is house broken leash trained. Does not like a crate but will go in , Needs work with crate training. Penny is a dog that needs someone who can set boundaries in a positive firm consistent manner. Typical of herders, she will try to control if she senses you are not in charge. She knows commands, she is motion activated as are most herders. We are working with that and she can be reactive with other dogs, thus the need for a dog savvy handler. She would do best in a home with one other dog or no other dogs for those less experienced. Fenced yard is a must, as is a knowledgeable border collie person . This is Peanut!! Border/corgi mix but i see a lot of border!! He is a year old.. This boy is about a year old and a beautiful tri with a lot of white on him. He is neutered and up to date on all his vaccines/testing/wormer/flea and heartworm. He is heartworm negative. He is needs a place to shine, he is scared in the shelter but is well behaved and is really sweet and silly when his personality comes out. he is a bit timid of men but will allow touching once he sniffs you. Good with other dogs, Lets get this boy a place where he can run and be all he can be!! May be a sports prospect!!!! Peanut is settling in. He is very active and loves to play with other dogs but can be a bit overwhelming. He loved toys and will play tug or chase a ball (fetch in progress). He does jump up when excited and we are working on that. He walks nicely on a leash with a collar or harness. We are currently working on basic obedience and manners. Peanut needs an active home and would make a good running or hiking partner. He would also do well in dog sports. I will keep updating his progress. Fostered in Orlando area

Flint and his sister Addy, both ended up as Strays in Polk County, GA. They both love people, children and adults, very friendly, docile. These siblings are both beautiful. They are border collie mixes. Not yet altered, they have some shots and will need to finish getting vetted, as we try to place them soon in foster homes. We need to pull before their time is up!
