Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Hi! My name is Cookie. I am a 1-year-old, 48-lb. Australian Shepherd mix. My foster mom tells me that it's a very good name for me since I am as sweet as a cookie. My foster mom also says I'm the goodest girl in the world, which makes me very happy because I try so hard to make my family smile. I love my little foster fur brother and fur sisters, and I love my big foster fur sister too, even though I was a little scared of her the first few days, but now we are besties. I was tested with cats and I did great. I love all the company that comes to my house, especially the little hoomans, they are so much fun to play with.  I love when they throw the ball and I can run around in my yard. I'm a pretty mellow girl for the most part, but I do love my walks around the neighborhood and meeting new people. I also love to snuggle next to anyone who happens to be sitting on the couch. Car rides are fun too; I love going on adventures. I know how to potty outside and if my foster mom forgets about potty time, I remind her by making some noise at the back door, it always gets her attention. I do have to spend time in a crate when no one is home, it's not my favorite, but they tell me it's to keep me safe. My foster mom says they will find me my furever home, but it needs to be just right. A fenced backyard for me to run in, and another fur sibling for me to play with would be ideal. A family that would like to take me on adventures would be amazing too. I do need often brushing and regular grooming to keep my coat looking beautiful. If you live in the Orlando/Central Florida area and believe you'd be the perfect match for me, please fill out an application, I am excited to find my furever family. June 22, 2025, 8:46 pm

Story
Looking to rehome 2.5-year-old male Australian Shepherd. He’s a loving, energetic dog. He is very sweet but can get overly excited and isn’t aware of his size, so he’s not a good fit for a home with small children. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and house broken. He does great on a leash and is fine when passing other dogs, but does not get along with other dogs once in a confined space like inside of a home. He needs to be an only dog. He is also really good in the car. He knows basic commands like sit, stay, lay down, off. He would thrive with an active, experienced owner who can give him plenty of exercise and help with his manners (especially jumping). He deserves a home where he can get the attention, structure, and activity he needs.

Story
Dylan is looking for his forever home! We believe he is 9 yo and don’t know much about his past. He came to ASF thin, scared, and matted. Despite his past, he has flourished in his foster home. Dylan is a black tri that is about 35lbs and has limited vision in his left eye, it is not a blue eye. He is very tolerant and does well with brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, teeth brushing, taking medication, ect. He is scared of the noise clippers make. He is not a fan of most forms of water but enjoys playing in the rain. He is a very low energy pup. He will do best in a home with someone who is retired or works from home. He is crate trained. He does not enjoy car rides or leash walks as they stress him out. He struggles with separation anxiety, as many Aussies do, but he also gets stress related poops. He is best kenneled if leaving the house to avoid messes. Dylan is a very sweet pup that is learning to love the good life. He enjoys strolls around the yard, rolling in the grass, and taking a nap at foster mom’s feet. He gets the zoomies anytime foster mom comes back from the grocery store. He is okay with other dogs as long as they allow him his space. Because of his vision he gets nervous when other dogs are in his face. He also does well with other small animals as he is very gentle. He does not climb or jump so you don’t have to worry about him hopping up on the couch or bed, unless you put him there. He is food motivated and gets very excited for meals. He has picked up some tricks from his fellow housemates, like giving his paw for pets, and pressing some of the talking buttons. He is sometimes nervous around new people but is quickly appeased with treats and pets. Dylan is a nervous Nelly that has had a tough life but is a very sweet and gentle boy. He has the best Dobby ears and bleps anytime he falls asleep. If you are looking for a low energy Aussie , Dylan may be your man! He is neutered and up to date on shots. Here is the link to the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.

Story
River is a 4-year-old mini Aussie from Texas who just wants love, booty scratches, and someone to brush him. I’ve had him since he was 7 weeks old, and he’s been my best friend through everything. He’s chill at home, recalls well, and has lived in an apartment—but he deserves a yard, more freedom, and maybe even another Aussie or two to play with. Since my ex-wife left, it’s just been me working long hours, and River went from constant companionship to waiting too many hours alone. He’s full of love, smart, and still healing from the change. I don’t want to say goodbye forever, but he deserves more than I can give him right now. I’m looking for someone who truly has the time, heart, and space to give him the happy, active life he deserves. He’s a good boy with a big heart he just needs his next chapter. He also has a TikTok where I’ve posted loads of clips of him growing up https://www.tiktok.com/@chillguywalks?_t=ZT-8wdEixqVupC&_r=1 Look up chilldogwalkin on tiktok
