Story
Bentley is a loyal, intelligent dog who is eager to learn and easy to train. We rescued him a few years ago, and for much of that time, he was our only dog. Two years ago, he became a father to six puppies, and while we found loving homes for most of them, we kept two. At first, Bentley was fine with the puppies, but as they grew older, he became more protective—especially around his food and the house when they come inside. He seems anxious around them and would truly thrive as the only dog in a home where he can feel secure and relaxed. Bentley takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he does, he’s an incredibly loyal companion. We welcome prospective adopters to visit him multiple times to ensure it’s a great match. A patient adopter who allows Bentley to build trust at his own pace, including with friends and family, will be rewarded with a devoted best friend for life.

Story
I adopted Tucker from a local rescue. No background given except that he was picked up by Animal Control. He's been with me for 4 months. He quickly learned to eliminate outside and walks well on a leash. He's very smart... he listens when I use commands like come, sit, lets go nightynight. I'm re-homing him because care for my 90-year-old mom is taking more time than in the past. My mom is now homebound and Tucker wants to nip at the heel of everyone who touches her. (We have several healthcare professional coming in each week.) Sometimes reassuring him helps, but his new owner will need to help him learn to acclimate to visitors. Tucker also needs a place to run and to be busy... preferably a farm or large yard where he can play. He does well in a crate if it's for a short time. He is anxious and barks around other dogs, so he'll need help learning how to socialize with other dogs. Unfortunately my time is limited now. I'm not able to help this sweet dog be all he can be.

Story
Smart, athletic Aussie who has always lived with a family. I adopted him about 6 months ago. I need to rehome him because he is aggressive toward dogs outside our home and has scared my elderly neighbor (while walking her dog). He has never lived on a farm but I think he would do very well with a big place to run all day or livestock to watch over. He likes to play ball, knows sit/lie down/shake. Han does well with kids but doesn’t like them to run and scream- he gets anxious. He rides in the car just fine. He is protective of his people and his home. He is a beautiful dog. His only health problem is allergies and An ear that doesn’t drain well. He takes Benadryl & ear drops for that.
