🐾✨ Hello Hoomans! ✨🐾 My name is Sir Lance-alot 🐶⚔️ (yes, as noble as it sounds!) and Im a 9-year-young cuddle king looking for home. 🏡💕 a loyal pup with a big heart and a love for dinosaur toys 🦕my treasures! But beware my arch nemesis is still on the loose: the vacuum. 😱🧹 We battle weekly. Ill be honest ; I could use a little training im a work in paw-gress 🐾), but what I lack in manners, I make up for in SNUGGLES. I do bark but its only when i don't know a person. I love belly rubs, head scratches, and cozy naps next to my human. 🛋️💤💗 Sadly, my mom passed away from COVID complications 😢🕊️, and my amazing sister has been caring for me ever since. But life has gotten tough 💔and money is tight, and now Im sharing space with a cat roommate 🐱& lets just say; we dont quote vibe. So now Im on a quest for a forever home full of love, patience, and maybe a few dino toys 🦴💚. If you have room in your heart and on your couch, I promise to be your loyal knight!

Story
This is Diego. He's an 11 month old Aussie mix that needs a foster home. He was a "free dog" online and the original owners did not represent him honestly with the new owners. Things are not working out and he needs to be properly placed (after full vetting). He is scheduled dor neuter on Tuesday. We hope to have a foster in place by then. He's great with his people and FEMALE dogs. His behavior around cats is unknown because the family does not have cats. There was a pretty bad fight between Diego and the senior male dog in this family. Since the fight the family has been distrusting of his behavior around the four-year-old as well so to be safe they have kept them separate. This is why he has to go. For this reason, we do not want him fostered with male dogs until he has been vetted and properly evaluated. We also do not feel that he should be placed in a home with young children until vetting and evaluation. He's a beautiful boy and deserves a happily ever after. We can help him find it!! It may well be he just needs his testosterone to be taken care of. Many dogs settle down after neuter and it's never fair to these animals when the original owners do not divulge all the information to the new owners. We feel this is a combination of situations that has just worked against Diego. Foster application can be filled out through this link: https://petstablished.com/foster_form/31711/generic If you fill out a foster application please give our director a heads up as we do not have a volunteer readily responding to applications at this time. It helps us to know that one has been submitted. You may text Aspen at 352-843-6858 ##1357659##

Story
Mocha is 1 1/2 years old. Her birthday is November 23, 2023. She was born on Thanksgiving! We have had Mocha since she was 6 weeks old. A friend of ours had a surprise litter and asked us if we'd like a puppy for our girls. She has a very high play drive! She will play fetch until she passes out if you'll let her. She is a wonderful dog and very well tempered. She has grown up around our senior dog and she's been around other dogs. She gets a little nervous around other dogs if they're bigger but she warms up pretty quickly. She would thrive with a very active family and she would definitely do better in a home with a yard to run and play in. She also loves walks!! Activity is the key!!

Sprout is looking for her FOREVER HOME We have decided to put these adorable pups up for Pre Adoption. These babies were all thrown out of a moving car in a bag. Luckily someone saw it happen and brought them to a high kill shelter. They will be go to the vet July 29th and August 5th. They will be fixed, microchipped and up to date with shots. Sprout is a very sweet, very affectionate little girl. She wants to greet you with kisses and be by side. She’s on the smaller side at around 5.5lbs but we expect she will be a medium sized hog when full grown. Best guesses for her breed is a lab/border collie mix. Sprout is adventurous and outgoing but comes running when called. She loves scratches behind her ears and big squeezes and hugs. This girl will bring companionship, joy and love to her family. PS: she has specifically requested extra snuggles at bedtime. If interested in this sweet girl, please go to our website at rescue dogsdream.com and complete an application. Background check reference, and that checks will be completed prior to meeting the Pup. Welcome to the Dream Happy Tails Coming Soon

Luckily someone saw it happen and brought them to a high kill shelter. They will be go to the vet July 29th and August 5th. They will be fixed, microchipped and up to date with shots. Pip is a quiet little girl. She is more likely to wait for you to notice her than demand your attention but once you engage with her she will climb right up on your lap and cuddle in. She is tiny, at only 4.5lbs, but we expect her to fill out to be a medium sized dogs when grown. She appears to be a lab/border collie mix. Pip has designer white eyeliner which she says “is all the rage this season”. Pip was born with a birth defect nicknamed Swimmers Syndrome and has received extensive therapeutics to help her outgrow this. She keeps up with her other siblings without any issues. Pip will do best with a family that understands she may tucker out a little sooner as her back legs are still building strength. Pip is ready for a lap to call her own, and someone to give all her love to! If interested in this sweet girl, please go to our website at rescue dogsdream.com and complete an application. Story
Tippi is looking for her FOREVER HOME We have decided to put these adorable pups up for Pre Adoption. These babies were all thrown out of a moving car in a bag. Luckily someone saw it happen and brought them to a high kill shelter. They will be go to the vet July 29th and August 5th. They will be fixed, microchipped and up to date with shots. Tippi is a tiny girl with a huge personality! At 4.5lbs she is one of the smaller pups of the litter but we still anticipate she will be a medium-sized dog when grown. We believe she is a lab/border collie mix. Tippi is a mildly special needs puppy. Tippi was born with a birth defect nicknamed Swimmers Syndrome. She has undergone extensive therapeutics and is doing phenomenal. Her biggest hindrance is that at some point either during her birth or immediately after, her leg was broken. By the time rescue was involved the break had healed but not in proper alignment (malunion). She has been evaluated and the veterinary recommendations at this time is to leave it. She does have a little kick in her step, and this leg will be slightly shorter than the others. It also tends to turn out. It does not appear to cause her any discomfort. This little one was born to run, climb, play, and jump!!!! Tippi doesn’t understand the concept of slowing down and she is a poor judge of a safe height to jump from so will need very watchful eyes. Tippi will require a highly nutritious diet and supplements as she is growing to help her bones, tendons, and ligaments stay strong. Tippi has not been able to integrate as fully with her siblings as a typical puppy. She isn’t quite strong enough to roughhouse with them and often removes herself. Because of this, and all the time away from them for rehabilitation, she has minimal bite inhibition. This means she bites often and hard. This is something that is being addressed and she is making progress, but to err on the side of extreme caution we are recommending household with children over 8 so that little fingers and noses don’t get nibbled. Tippi is a great little girl. She wants to be with people and just needs to keep working on her manners. Tippi lives and loves big. If interested in this sweet girl, please go to our website at rescue dogsdream.com and complete an application. Background check reference, and that checks will be completed prior to meeting the Pup.
