Zoeie was still born and has some behavioral issues. She has one eye that has nystagmus. She likes to go in circles all the time. Zoeie can be very loving, but must be introduced slowly to new people. She is gorgeous and needs someone who understands the breed and is willing to work with her.

Story
Sophie is two yo. She has been good with the dogs she has encountered. She knows basic commands and fetches. We have an invisible fence and she does great with it, even when other dogs walk by. She loves being right with her family. She is a follower so if you have a calm stable dog she will fall in line, if you have a hyper and reactive dog that is how she will act. We have not been able to get her to leave the cats alone, she just tries to herd them as is her breed. But one of the cats is special needs, we were hoping Sophie would get used to them as she got older. She definitely prefers kids who leave her alone. I would highly recommend no small children as she tries to herd them. I think her ideal home would be one that understands the needs of Australian Shepherds, has no small kids or animals, and room to run. I think someone who could train her for agility would be great. Also someone able to work with her on walking properly as she likes to just run around us on walks.

Story
This is Diego. He's an 11 month old Aussie mix that needs a foster home. He was a "free dog" online and the original owners did not represent him honestly with the new owners. Things are not working out and he needs to be properly placed (after full vetting). He is scheduled dor neuter on Tuesday. We hope to have a foster in place by then. He's great with his people and FEMALE dogs. His behavior around cats is unknown because the family does not have cats. There was a pretty bad fight between Diego and the senior male dog in this family. Since the fight the family has been distrusting of his behavior around the four-year-old as well so to be safe they have kept them separate. This is why he has to go. For this reason, we do not want him fostered with male dogs until he has been vetted and properly evaluated. We also do not feel that he should be placed in a home with young children until vetting and evaluation. He's a beautiful boy and deserves a happily ever after. We can help him find it!! It may well be he just needs his testosterone to be taken care of. Many dogs settle down after neuter and it's never fair to these animals when the original owners do not divulge all the information to the new owners. We feel this is a combination of situations that has just worked against Diego. Foster application can be filled out through this link: https://petstablished.com/foster_form/31711/generic If you fill out a foster application please give our director a heads up as we do not have a volunteer readily responding to applications at this time. It helps us to know that one has been submitted. You may text Aspen at 352-843-6858 ##1357659##

Story
Callie is a fully registered, beautiful black tri Australian Shepherd. She is nine months old. She is fully trained; potty trained, and crate trained. She is wonderful with other dogs and cats. They are best of friends they play they run. Callie is so sweet and she loves to cuddle. She is an indoor dog, but loves to be outside so would love her to have a big fenced in yard and or land to run on. She absolutely loves kids, walks, and pup cups at Dunkin’ Donuts. We just sent her to a month long board and train in December. She did great there so she is fully trained. Unfortunately, we found out my granddaughter has an allergy to her so after a lot of prayerful decision, we decided it would be best for my granddaughter who we have a lot to find Callie a new loving home. We are asking a rehoming fee, she is a purebred la tri female not neutered. We also just spent $3500 sending her to training. We would love to find her a home that is familiar with Aussie’s. They are the best dogs so loyal
