Story
Hercules was adopted from a shelter as a puppy, he’s always had alot of energy and loves to play, he likes to jump and listens to his commands for the most part. He knows how to sit, lay down, go to his place, and stay. We would love to keep him, however we have a newborn and he is a lot to keep with because he is such a high energy dog. He just needs someone who has time to continue to work with him and love him the way he deserves to be loved.

Story
This is Diego. He's an 11 month old Aussie mix that needs a foster home. He was a "free dog" online and the original owners did not represent him honestly with the new owners. Things are not working out and he needs to be properly placed (after full vetting). He is scheduled dor neuter on Tuesday. We hope to have a foster in place by then. He's great with his people and FEMALE dogs. His behavior around cats is unknown because the family does not have cats. There was a pretty bad fight between Diego and the senior male dog in this family. Since the fight the family has been distrusting of his behavior around the four-year-old as well so to be safe they have kept them separate. This is why he has to go. For this reason, we do not want him fostered with male dogs until he has been vetted and properly evaluated. We also do not feel that he should be placed in a home with young children until vetting and evaluation. He's a beautiful boy and deserves a happily ever after. We can help him find it!! It may well be he just needs his testosterone to be taken care of. Many dogs settle down after neuter and it's never fair to these animals when the original owners do not divulge all the information to the new owners. We feel this is a combination of situations that has just worked against Diego. Foster application can be filled out through this link: https://petstablished.com/foster_form/31711/generic If you fill out a foster application please give our director a heads up as we do not have a volunteer readily responding to applications at this time. It helps us to know that one has been submitted. You may text Aspen at 352-843-6858 ##1357659##

Story
Gemini Zod is a charismatic Aussie mix with a unique blend of charm and energy. This adorable pup came to us initially shy and scared, but it took just a couple of days for him to reveal the true star within. Gemini Zod has transformed into an outgoing and charismatic companion. His big personality shines through, bringing joy and laughter to those around him. Gemini Zod enjoys an extremely active lifestyle. His love for walking, chasing after a ball, and indulging in some bone-chewing sessions is truly delightful to witness. But the real show-stopper is when he decides it's time for zoomies – his playful sprints and twists are guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Gemini Zod is seeking a home that appreciates his lively spirit and is ready to provide the love and engagement he craves.  HE IS EXTREMELY PEOPLE SELECTIVE AND MUST GO TO A VERY EXPERIENCED ADOPTER. PLEASE NOTE: All your current pets must be spayed/neutered, vaccinated and on heartworm prevention to adopt from Polka Dogz. We only adopt in Florida. All adoption fees go to help all the dogs in the rescue, some of which require extensive medical care. Thank you for caring for the greater good. Adoption fee is $450 and you can adopt me at WWW.POLKADOGZ.ORG ##2048458##

Story
Meet Clarabow — Survivor. Soft Soul. Professional Couch Ornament. ✨🐾 Clarabow’s story started where many end. She was found collapsed on the side of the road—so frail, so thin, that Animal Control thought she had already passed. Skin and bones. Painfully anemic. Severe skin infections. For a while, we truly didn’t know if she was going to make it. But Clarabow wasn’t done yet. After weeks of fighting for her life, answers finally came: Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever and Lyme disease—two tick-borne illnesses that had been quietly draining her body. Once she started the right antibiotics and treatment, something incredible happened. She bloomed. 🌸 Today, Clarabow is unrecognizable from the dog we first met. She’s stunning—long, elegant, and ethereal, like a greyhound-meets-fox fairytale creature. But even more beautiful than her looks is her soul. 💗 Calm, gentle, and endlessly loving 🐶 Great with dogs, cats, and kids 🏡 Fully potty trained 🛋️ Low-key, chill, and happy just being near her people At 8 years old, Clarabow isn’t asking for chaos or adventure—she’s asking for peace. Soft beds. Sunny naps. Leisurely strolls. A home where she can finally live the life she always deserved. She’s spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to trade survival mode for retirement in luxury. Clarabow has done the hard part. Now all she needs is someone to love her. 💫 Apply to adopt Clarabow and give a miracle dog her happily ever after. 💫
