You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Stevie 2-year-old Australian Shepherd | Female   Stevie is a 48 lb sweet, sensitive Aussie looking for a calm, understanding home where she can truly settle in and shine.   Here’s what we know about this pretty girl:     •    Knows commands: off, sit, stay, down, and up (smart cookie )     •    Does great in multi-dog environments and enjoys canine companionship     •    Has separation anxiety, so she’ll do best with someone who is home most of the day     •    Timid with strangers and needs time to warm up     •    Looking for a home with no children under 12   Stevie would thrive in a patient, adult-focused home that understands her need for routine, reassurance, and gentle introductions. With the right person, she’s the kind of dog who will form a deep, loyal bond and be an incredible companion.   If you’re experienced with herding breeds or anxious pups and have the time to give her the stability she needs, Stevie might just be your girl &#226&#156&#168 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 5, 2026, 11:32 am

Story
Baxter is a beautiful, playful, loving boy, very energetic. Baxter needs more attention, playtime and walks which because of my age and health restrictions I am unable to give him. Baxter is two years old now, he is a sweet boy. The only reason I wish to find him a new home is as above. I have to do this for his sake so his quality of life is met to the fullest possible. I am not asking for an adoption fee because I want him to be chosen for love and a loving family. Baxter is good with older children as I have older grandchildren but I do not know how he would react with young children. He has never been around cats so I cannot say how he would behave towards them. I know he is ok with other dogs .

Story
Picked her up from a breeder in Superior, Nebraska. She is very high energy, loves to play, potty trained, but very needy and anxious. Thunderstorms and fireworks make her very anxious. She sometimes whines and is vocal when anxious. Requires attention and active lifestyle. Preferably a property with land or a fenced backyard. No apartments, townhomes, or condos. She has lived 9 years with another female Chihuahua companion, they get along well but she often forgets her size around the little one. I love my baby girl but my life is changing and I’m afraid I don’t have the time to keep up with her and her needs.
